I watched a video last night about people on Twitter and TikTok whining about how they made a mistake by voting for Trump. Many, many people have found themselves disowned by family members. And Jesse Watters from Fox said his MOTHER told him he couldn’t come to her house for Thanksgiving!! 🤣🤣

A little historical context: one of the best Presidents of the last 50 years, Jimmy Carter, was slaughtered at the polls by inflation and the Iranian hostage crisis, neither of which he caused nor made worse. Voters will blame the current President for the economy, which is almost never his fault.

Note: Jefferson was elected by the House due to an electoral college tie, but that wouldn't have been needed if the popular vote is what elected the President.

Let's not forget that the electoral college was established so that southern states (slavery!) with smaller populations would be able to "resist" the larger numbers of voters in northern (more abolitionist) states. Hence the election of Jefferson in 1800. Long past time to end this absurdity!
