Hello! As a quick introduction, my name is Aldous and I am on Bluesky for two completely different purposes: as an arm of my long-running progressive talk radio program, "TMI with Aldous Tyler" (hence my handle) and to stay connected to the pro-wrestling fanbase (AEW/Heels, and Indies especiaily).

AI saves time at work, but consider this: a report that took 2.5 hours now takes 30 minutes; 1/5th the time. But each AI action uses 10-30x the energy, or 2-6x the energy for the same output. That power mostly comes from fossil fuels. AI's "efficiency" is an illusion that guts real climate progress.
