Oh wild. Seems like all these big tech companies are doing more layoffs. Wonder if there is maybe some tool or something they keep swearing won’t replace people… replacing people.

Hot take, if state money or tax deal is to be awarded to data center, stadium, factory etc… the people have to vote on it. Same thing if these things are to be zoned in the state. Put all of this on ballots.

I hate this shit when there’s so many fucking things wrong with the world the Internet zeros in on a story and is like “this woman is not textbook fuckable, let us all laugh” like my dudes, that’s literally the least of anyone’s worries.

Sigh… it’s always heartening to see that, all my issues with movies and animation, are just local issues. I wish there was more hand drawn animation: watch animation from another country doofus! I’m sad all the movies are based on existing IP: literally watch a movie from any where else idiot!

I loathe scalpers in any industry. When you intentionally try to make a product rare so you can drive prices up, you're a fucking vampire. Pokemon should be just as accessible to a kid walking into a store with his birthday money as to a private collector with an adult's income. This delights me.

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

Dude, we don't even have enough munitions for the war in Iran, let alone a guaranteed asymmetrical quagmire we'd run into taking on 2 more countries!??!

I'd be happy to collect $3 million dollars to be brutally average and cry on stage. I have no representation, you can contact me directly.

Starting a series about movies that broke men’s brains—films that shaped how a generation thinks about masculinity, power, rejection, and entitlement. First up is Obsession! With the inimitable @raxkingisdead.bsky.social & @mopathguy.bsky.social ("Rosie") links: tinyurl.com/3pr4hzcp

I hate this, Republicans you have such an easy job here, Dems have done absolutely nothing crazy, you can easily call them corporate sycophants or inert, saying they have failed to govern time and time again… but crazy? No proof. Republicans can’t even shoot a fish in the barrel.

That Ocarina of time remake looks great. Really fun fantasy design work. Link looks like a legit kid with his chubby little face and stubby little arms. Excited to give it a go.

I don’t understand the world, it seems people are voting more for far right leaning governments and yet theres no great example of that type of leadership thriving. And yet people remain horny over the idea of saving money and hurting immigrants.

If you don’t like the dog stars just wait three years till the directors cut where Ridley Scott actually decides to edit his movie and not just hands an editor a bunch of footage with no direction.

If I were a politician I’d offer any store that practices surge pricing would in turn receive surge pricing on their property taxes. It’s hot and you price water 20% more your taxes go up 20%

Rich people: I shouldn’t have to pay taxes based off the amount of money I make. Also rich people: we should track consumers and charge them more money for goods based off what they make.

I interviewed for two positions this year outside of my job and the big questions interviewers asked were how could I use AI to help transform their team into a more modern post production team. And like. GODDAMIT.

I love that OpenAI's rebuke to Apple's lawsuit is: Yes, we had access to everything you said we had access to, yes we saw it, and yes there is proof, however here is a text where the parties involved said "woopsie daisy."

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!

Donnie Cunningham, a parent whose foster daughter found out this week that her college plans had been derailed, said that the impact on other children like his would be devastating. A total of 170 foster students in Mississippi are being denied full-ride scholarships because of a lack of funding.

I'd love more interviews between filmmakers and PhD students please. It's really nice to hear something like this over some influencer trying to rack up views or some mouth breather trying to chase some clout.
