The @desertbus.org arrives early this year! And here's how the poster starts. Over the week I'll be drawing up stuff they do on stream and it can be purchased to help support the charity drive! Just 17 hours away: desertbus.org

I am at Desert Bus all week long, starting tomorrow at 4pm Pacific time! I also made a Bell Beast that you can win! #DesertBusForHope

I'm nearing the end of Mina the Hollower and it's been a lot of fun. It kills me that a lot of the complaints I see online are whining that the game expected them to notice environmental clues or read NPC dialog for information, why are you playing a game you don't want to engage with?

Rewatching Final Destination for the first time in decades and who the hell approved "torque a wicked cable" as a line of dialogue?

Charity is swell, but if you're not playing every Kathleen adventure you can you're missing out!

It’s Pizzamas! That means you can give $10 bucks to charity AND get an all-new, extremely weird one-shot! This one features an extended P.G. Wodehouse parody, a ton of classic Nerdfighter memes, and the best batch of pre-gen characters I’ve ever designed! pizzamas.com/collections/...

When you get a dog they don't tell you how many parts of their butt can get infected. They should put my dog on those billboards that shame men into getting prostate exams.

every billionaire & tech mogul, they all want to be adored & celebrated without doing the things Dolly did with a fraction of the power & money. What she had, she gave away. I'm sure she was comfortable (& that's good!). But she just relentlessly helped. It's not that difficult. Love. Care. Help. 💚🌸

Remember when we asked for your favorite Desert Bus for Hope moments? We got a lot of delightful responses, and we figured why not make them "fight"? Head to the blog and vote! We'll be updating the link at the top of our post every 48 hours:

Really been enjoying Fields of Mistria the last few days! Going in with no info I was worried it was just another Stardew Valley clone but it definitely has its own vibe and identity that's really charming and fun. Can't get over how weird it is to jump and swim.

Working bench press weight is back to 200 lbs, looking forward to testing my 1RM again soon 💪 Slowly approaching my college numbers #fitnesssky

🎶 They're taking the hobbits to Canada 🎶

This week on EDHijinks, we're playing a game themed around different creature types from The Hobbit using new and old cards with @loadingreadyrun.com! 🌳 Graham on Sapling of Colfenor 🎲 Kathleen on Thranduil 🔨 Olivia on Thorin 🎂 Eilidh on Bilbo Watch the full episode here: youtu.be/pbt0JVIxhS0

I logged in this morning to find the checkboxes in my todo list in OneNote are just randomly circles now. I'm going to find someone at Microsoft and shake them.

I'm enjoying this new Ghost in the Shell series so far! I have vague memories of seeing Stand Alone Complex on Adult Swim as a young teen and not really getting it, so it's fun to see this one as it airs.

This food looks so synthetic that I didn't initially even clock this as a food ad. It's particularly off putting.

union person@junlper.beer

ai food in these posters always looks like nightmare sequences in shows where someone will be eating what they think is delicious food but then they look down and turns out its maggots and other bugs

This really is a game changer. One trip to a local running store, chatted with the guy about my stride and got some decent shoes, night and day difference. It's much easier to stick with something and enjoy it when you aren't uncomfortable or basically in the wrong gear.

Jay Willis@jaywillis.net

You guys are never gonna believe this, but going to a brick-and-mortar running store and getting sized by employees who know what they're doing and can recommend brands and models for you is a WAY better strategy than Googling "Nike running shoes" and buying whatever's on sale

You can't tell me this isn't a Jacob Wysocki character.

I’m sorry, no. This is not the guy who did the reflecting pool. No. Come on. We’re just putting a hat on a hat here. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/18/u...

That these things can generate working code (i.e., compiles or executes without error) comes down to the fact that we can know whether code is working or not simply by compiling or running it. But as you might imagine, just having some code that runs doesn't mean much by itself...

Mallory Moore@sexabolition.blog

Coding agents can kinda work because you can have deterministic tests that detect many kinds of fuckups to force the agent to make edits until the tests pass (which doesn't make it correct, it just puts boundaries on the kinds of errors it can do).

My wife and I finally sat down and played a few games, #MoodSwings is a lot of fun! Dynamic and fast paced in all the right ways, really looking forward to trying it out with more players too!

Well what do we have here! #MoodSwings

I'm no economist but I suspect Grok/AI isn't worth 20% of the world's GDP ($126 trillion based on a quick google search).

The valuation of SpaceX is based on this page in their filing*. Estimated future market: 28.5 trillion Of that Grok/AI is: 26.5 trillion 93% of the SpaceX valuation is Grok NINTY THREE PERCENT OF THE SPACEX VALUATION IS GROK!!!! * www.sec.gov/Archives/edg...

I am amazed to learn that Rocko (of his Modern Life), OG Spyro the Dragon, the Taco Bell chihuahua, and Mr. Crocker from Fairly Odd Parents are all Deputy Garcia from Reno 911!

I certainly don't like seeing bad weather warnings but it is kind of fun to see all the interesting and unusual town names you've never heard of in your state.

There are many examples where the punishment for a crime should simply be having the crime done back to you.

University of Illinois isn't the most rural school but our on campus corn plot has so many weird rumors!

Quantian@quantian.bsky.social

US universities genuinely are like “welcome to Tennessee Agricultural College in Bumfuck Nowheresville. We invented the modern potato and our facilities include a particle accelerator, nuclear reactor, and TOP500 supercomputer. Tuition is $12,000 for instate students and we have 40,000 of them”

New Dungeon Crawler Carl tomorrow, so excited! I can't remember the last time I was sitting around eagerly anticipating a new book in a series, much less one I was confident would actually come out!

The classic dilemma -- stop it and fix the inefficiencies you noticed while it's running, or cross your fingers and hope it might finish soon. #python

I have distinct, confusing memories of going to restaurants with smoking sections as a kid but that stopped happening early enough that the memories are fuzzy now and feels like an insane fever dream.

If you were born after (roughly) the year 2000, I don't think you can comprehend what public spaces smelled like prior to indoor smoking bans.
