House Dems Report: “A growing body of evidence demonstrates Trump was an active participant in Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the 1990s. The DOJ & FBI are doing everything they can to keep the 🇺🇸 people in the dark about it.” The report: democrats-judiciary.house.gov/sites/evo-su...

are these guys hoping to be machine 2.0? looks like it to me. blueanon dramacore with a sprinkle of bedrock imo. i mean all you had to do was renounce pharma and publish your conflicts and you'd have slain MS-whatever

🔥 BEN MEISELAS ERUPTS: The Cheesecake Factory faux outrage exposes the propaganda machine. They brainwash Americans into fighting each other while oligarchs steal our healthcare, send our kids to endless wars, and buy more yachts. Divide the people. Enrich the oligarchs.

shouldn't be fucking necessary, though. the world I entered in the 90s was different than what my kids have. less. less opportunity, less privacy, less optimism. just less. and that's because of policies that don't have any color but green.

parties hate RCV because it makes them irrelevant. Ranked Choice Voting aggregates voter intent (so, power) more efficiently than parties, and the only thing parties do is aggregate voter intent and then sell it. RCV doesn't sell it, it makes that power work the way it was designed to work.

low-level issue for another day: the reason we can't opt out of receiving unsolicited mail and the reason processing unsolicited mail at 1/3 the cost of doing so are the same: bribes (I mean lobbying money) email spam is bad enough, but it doesn't cost anything. this schlock costs $$ at every point

they're trying to make you dislike USPS service AND also saddle it with unsustainable spam mail rates. they're effectively saying that by law USPS has to bear the bulk of the cost of spam mail delivery, but that it can't let mailbox owners refuse it.

NEW: US lawmakers say the Trump administration is breaking the law by withholding a secret court opinion about the surveillance of Americans, even as it presses Congress to renew America’s most sweeping surveillance program.

I think Bill Maher's a smug, smarmy, self-interested L.A. asshole who should really *not* have a podcast, but I rarely think he's wrong and I don't about this ('this' being his willingness to talk to people he disagrees with)

Hope it was worth it @billmaher Trump also mocks Maher for forcing his audience to laugh at his bad jokes — guess Trump’s right about something after all🙃

In August, President Trump announced he had signed the “biggest oil deal in world history.” ProPublica reviewed the deal and found it gives a small group of people largely handpicked by the Trump administration long-term control of the enterprise.

The time to determine whether Dan J. Sullivan Jr. could appear on the Alaska ballot for U.S. Senate was months ago, and Alaska courts did so. What's additionally batshit about this is that the candidates' names are printed on the ballot in a way which makes abundantly clear who's who.

Breaking news: The Justice Department has moved to preemptively block certification of the results of Alaska’s Senate race if Republican incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan loses his tight race against Democrat Mary Peltola next month.

Very effective move for Zelenskyy to make his case, and more importantly, to show himself, his character, on Steven's platform. The contrast btwn Zelenskyy and Trump is stark. Jarring. More people need to see this. We are led by a Manchurian. If you don't get that reference: our POTUS is a mole.

I grew up around russian expats in AK, and that shouldn't matter (my personal experience) but it's formed an understanding over 50 years that there's something abt russian culture that is uniquely compatible with fascism, and that's a perspective that most Americans lack. youtu.be/5x9dkYIRb58?...

that the United States of America is siding with Putin's Russia rather than bringing the full force of the American military apparatus to Ukraine's defense is treason against the American DNA, against our most sacred principles. it is disgusting. a crime of immeasurable magnitude.
