For those who don't know, our audio drama series' sole purpose in life is to make video games. The Concierge: Post Mortem has received video game prototyping from the Canadian Media fund and we're excited to finally share what we've been working on over the summer.

She's sworn off love. He's never experienced it. Together, their greatest adventure will be testing the punishing oaths that bind them against the flames of love and healing that beckon them ever closer. Is love enough to conquer the guilt of your past? 📖 The Beckoned and the Bound by Nicole Evans

I am sorry but THE URSULA VERNON T. KINGFISHER responded to my post about my book and I am deceased, I am dead, I am in awe, I am verklempt like...!!! Being perceived by your heroes and inspirations was NOT ON MY BUCKET LIST TODAY BUT HOLY GOODNESS this made my entire day 😭

So my debut fantasy romance comes out in two weeks (!!) but I have done hardly any marketing thanks to October being one of the worst months of the year for me (and my preorder numbers unfortuantely reflect that). But I'm really proud of this story, so it's time to market a lot. Sorry in advance. 😅

It's release day! ROSEMARY & THYME is live at retailers! Olivia Atwater offers up another gothic fantasy romance, full of dark magic, deceitful faeries, and "witty and nuanced enchantment" (Stephanie Burgis), in the second instalment of the Victorian Faerie Tales. oliviaatwater.com/book/rosemar...

Thank you for reading it!! 🙏🙏 And if you don’t read it yet, you can subscribe to get next week’s letter which will include all the shenanigans I got up to this weekend, like sword fights and critical role meetings and shows, and the current state of some upcoming projects….

Brb I just got the first blurb for TBATB back from an author I admire so utterly and I'm in shambles 😭 #BookSky

It's ace week!!! Kembral Thorne, the hero of my Echo Archives series, is a biromantic asexual (like me!), which is super important to me but can get lost in book descriptions with everything else going on (Tired mom MC! Sapphic romance! Time loops! Layered worlds! Murder! Swordfights in ballgowns!)

My kingdom for the ability to clear nasal drainage and congestion 😭

I've been too fucked to promote the SPFBO finalist sale, but my SPFBO finalist book, The Thirteenth Hour, is currently on sale for 1.99 on Amazon and Kobo... for the next day 🤣 mlwangbooks.com/spfbo-finali... Also happy to recommend other books in the sale!

So. This just landed in my inbox.

Hi friends! My friend's 9yo daughter is going to be hospitalized for the forseeable future. I'd like to send books to help her. I'll be making the list and the total cost later today, but if anyone can spare anything, I'd appreciate it greatly. ❤️ #BookSky #MutualAid ko-fi.com/thoughtsstai...

I am sadder today about BioWare. Yet if their stories taught me anything, it was that hope deserved to be held onto even against impossible odds. I believe the worlds of ME + DA aren't over forever. I believe in the devs and their future stories. Naive? Maybe. Foolish? Perhaps. But I believe.

If the Guardians of Destiny did not go quietly into that good night, neither should the Spectres of Mass Effect. Starting on Nov. 3, I'll be #streaming the Mass Effect Trilogy under the #SaveMassEffect & #BringBackBioWare banners, and I would *LOVE* for others to join me in this as they can.

made this new gif as a redeem for my twitch channel, but I think everyone deserves to have it. #fuckEA

you can't judge when bioware was really killed because the mismanagement at the higher level under EA has been so constant and pervasive since the acquisition at every stage that every game shipped at all was a herculean miracle

Dragon Age has become a huge part of my life right now and seeing the news that Bioware is shutting down sure stings. But remember that a lot of the devs are off starting their own projects and opening new studios - there are still stories to be told. Go out and find them, support them.

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

This is me. Accepting my queerness is because of Dragon Age. My upcoming romance exists because of Dragon Age. Fuck, I am dating my partner because of our mutual love for Mass Effect!!! I am a better writer BECAUSE OF THESE FRANCHISES. 😭

I don't think readers understand how much influence Bioware has had on authors in the last twenty years. We owe Bioware so much. No Dragon Age means no body horror means I don't write body horror into my work, for example.

I am genuinely so gutted at BioWare's closing by EA. I wouldn't be who I am today without the Dragon Age franchise, full stop. The fact that we'll never get more of those worlds because of EA's bullshit is genuinely heartbreaking. All my love to the devs. You deserve so much better. 🖤

EA deserves bankruptcy for this. May the executives and investors responsible never know another day of profit, peace, or pleasure ever again. Goodbye, BioWare. Thank you for so many cherished games & memories. 💙

i think the games industry should have studios that exist

EA's closure of BioWare is transparently a vile move to shutter the studio that made by far their queerest titles. In the wake of this, I implore you: MAKE MORE QUEER ART. Make it trans. Make it horny. Make it scary. Make it loving. Make it with every inch of yourself. Flood the world with it!

Bioware forever.

Fuck EA forever, man. BioWare deserved so much better than this 😭😭😭😭😭😭

ICYMI: my last short story of the year is out at Adventitious!! "Starfall" is a love letter to Transistor and This is How You Lose the Time War. it has sapphic talking swords and bittersweet determination in the wake of a multiversal threat. ⚔️Read it here: www.adventitious.net/stories/star...

This remains on sale! Going to keep trying to boost it until that ends.
