I toured the Olympia Brewery as a 5yo (don’t ask), and I’ve always wanted to go back. Well, turns out it shuttered long ago and is now a squatting locale for local unhoused folk. C’est la vie.

I've been on Threads for a bit. I hate that it's a Meta platform, but it's a lot more laughs to be had along with some politics to be discussed. We need some levity over here in the BlueSkies.

If you are trying to consciously uncouple from Google in light of their pathetic knee-bending bullshit, but your iPhone keeps inserting Google into things - this may help. Switch the search engine in apps, and turn off the search engine suggestions. Thank you Tim F. of Reddit!

I work in suicide prevention, but I have a personal reason to say this today. It’s best not to have a handgun in the home. The odds are far, far greater that it will be used for suicide than for protection.

Pantry staples should always include everything one would need to make banana bread. Those bananas are going to turn, and you need to be ready. And *this* is the right recipe for that. Use yogurt for anything you're missing, and skip the brandy if not on hand. thekoreanvegan.com/the-best-veg...

some wisdom from james wilson, framer. "The truth is that, in our governments, the supreme, absolute, and uncontrollable power remains in the people."

We need to steel ourselves for the fight. Because, fuck them. Use your frustration, your passion, your rage to get to work. Contact @fieldteam6.org to help register likely Democrats and to get them to the polls!

VA SC decision is a setback, NOT the end! White Christian nationalists WANT us to give up. Americans are fed up with high prices, and a war that no one wants, while GOP hands out billions in tax cuts for the rich. FIGHT BACK. Vote. Organize. Our democracy depends on it!

The Average Jane/Joe Instant Expert is one of this country’s worst looks.

No, seriously, you have no idea what's going on at the DC Hilton, and neither do I. Neither do many of the people that are there. And unless you're part of the law enforcement effort, you don't really need to figure this out in the next ten minutes.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford. It’s about priorities.

If you paid taxes for 2025, you likely paid: $124 — school lunch & nutrition programs $49 — diplomacy to prevent wars $19 — USPS $19 — Federal Aviation Administration $18 — national parks and $4,049 — weapons and war. These priorities are hurting us all. We need change. #TaxDay

A reminder that the Vietnam peace talks lasted from 1968 to 1973; the "marathon" Iran talks took place in less than a day. I think the short attention span of Trump and everyone around him is a part of our trouble.

Don’t let Donald Trump threatening Iran distract you from Donald Trump trying to restrict your right to vote distract you from Donald Trump being in the Epstein Files
