Hello, #LateNightWrite! I am also in mourning for Bioware. Both Dragon Age and Mass Effect have been hugely influential to me as a writer. Mostly by making me more comfortable writing queer characters, but also by giving me so much inspiration. Also RIP Mass Effect 5, you looked awesome.

I think Taran's entire life breaks in Memento Mori when his lover, Casimir, dies. It certainly breaks something in his mind. They've been together for literal centuries at that point, and are far too codependent. Suffice it to say, their relationship isn't exactly a healthy one. #QueerWritersChat
