Hey folks I haven't been much active in the last months and I wanted to share a couple of words about it TLDR is life has not been super kind, that's why I've withdrawn a bit from online spaces, I'm super late with work, still working on the big projects, rather slowly, like a background process 1/n

In a nutshell, I'm trying to get back at it the best that I can, I'm still working on the RPG projects, still passionate about them. I guess I'll probably be a bit more active online after I've dealt with a few things. 7/n

I know that some folks are disappointed in the lack of communication and ridiculous delays in the projects I'm due to deliver. That's totally understandable. Yeah. I'm super sorry. I see summer 2026, kind of as a window to catch up with late work (and emails, and stuff). 6/n

As I was kind of getting back to it, 2026 hit me with a few emotional tsunamis. Two people passed away, unexpectedly, one little time after the other, and both in a brutal way, both on a sunny weekend morning, which doesn't mean anything, but somehow does. 3/n

2025 has been hellish, I had to deal with a much unwanted and unexpected cross-country move a few months after having settled for good (I though that).Lots of work changes drained energy and cannibalised time (for rpg projects) 2/n

Ansible Uplink is a bi-weekly podcast where I invite a different indie ttrpg creator on to review a sci-fi adventure module. As mentioned on the show (but never on bsky), if folks have questions about sci-fi roleplaying or adventure design, you can drop them here for the show, :)

Another month goes by another person passes away unexpectedly. Dunno. I’m taking care of the plants on the balcony and of the ridicoulously late work. Sorry I haven’t been much around. Just wanted to let you know why I have been silent lately Take care everyone

For reference, I charge $0.02 CAD per word for editing and $0.05 CAD per word for writing. If you want me to work on comic pages, it's $15 CAD a page, for both editing And writing. Thank you!

I want to be a better steward for the Human Made icon. If you have any ideas on how I can get the word out for it more please let me know. Do you think game retailers would be interested in stickers they could pass out? folks interested in pins? What can I do to support you using this icon? a zine?

Looks like folks are interested in this. My goal is to facilitate the use of md + css for layout. I’m starting to wonder if I should wrap this o side a standalone desktop app. Would you fancy this?

In case you didn't know I released an open source app that does markdown + CSS to print layout You can edit text via the browser app Or in the editor of your choice (obsidian, sublime, vs code...) Web pixelppr.com Desktop github.com/the-coded-ty... Attached example of what you can do with it

LOOKING FOR RPG ILLUSTRATIONS? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE! COMMS OPEN! ADD A PROVEN *WINNER TO YOUR TEAM! *big nerd

I'm totally on board with this And I remember, one decade and a half ago, when social networks knocked on the door, almost everyone agreed, this would fuck us in the long term. Now here we are.

On bluesky I see little comments about what's happening in Iran, including "collateral damage", or Lebanon, and 1/2 million people forcibly displaced from Beirut It's just same old Whereas on the fediverse it's a bit different What does it mean? Is bluesky less diverse internationally than mastodon?

1/n I've finished the V1 of The Traveller, one shot and a big chunk of The Lost Bay RPG, which kind of establishes as a baseline. Lots of things to tweak, the baseline!, the NPC blocks, alignements etc, but I'll leave it for now, I'm moving on to the rules part of the book Thread of screen shots

6/n This book is so late. I kind of underestimated the task, no kidding. I'm feeling so bad for the backers who are expecting it, and stressing so much about this (my back is acting kind of weird lately). But I don't want to botch it, trying my best to make something useful, durable.
