So initially I started writing a service mesh (for fun), then everyone started talking about AI workloads. So here we are, a transparent gateway that can be applied to running workloads (no restart) that allows control between agents/workloads and an LLM. kube-gateway.io

I love it when a plan comes together. Some years ago I sketched on how I would automatically join bare metal nodes to my k8s cluster with PXE and auto issued certificates. Today I wanted to add a node and I just had to update versions and it went well. #kubernetes #homelab youtu.be/Jr4AWyzDJPg

Make egress traffic look like ingress allowed Loophole Labs leverage XDP to 12x the throughput of iptables, and all without kernel patches π eBPF is freedom to rethink how the kernel works.

An eBPF Loophole: Using XDP for Egress Traffic XDP is Linux's fastest packet processor but only handles incoming traffic. We found a loophole in how the kernel determines packet direction to make it work for outgoing traffic too! Blog post with details π loopholelabs.io/blog/xdp-for...
Come join me in 20 minutes, rumour is i'll be doing this in Halloween Fancy Dress too (whilst writing eBPF code) π§ββοΈ
