Etherlink 7.2 is live, following quickly behind Ganesha and 7.1. It’s a security-only hardening release for the current kernel, addressing a potential liveness issue identified after the previous upgrade. Etherlink says funds were not at risk. A full post-mortem and changelog are still coming.

Every Tezos baker started somewhere. If you set one up this year, what's the one thing you wish someone had told you before you began? Your answer could save the next person an afternoon.

Tezos conversations happen in a lot of rooms: Agora threads, TezCity, Discord, and objkt says it's making room for more soon. Where do you have your best Tezos conversations? The place where people actually answer back.

Tezos art gets a real room this weekend. objkt and Wintercircus in Ghent open CONSENT tomorrow, starting with p1xelfool's e/pi:/dermis, on view Oct 24 to Nov 8. Would you go see Tezos art in person? Tell us which city should get a show next.

Tezos artists are deep in Halloween work this week, from open calls to late-night mints. What's the spookiest Tezos piece you've made or collected this month? Drop it below. We'd love a feed full of it.

Eleven community-led events are coming to Tezos between now and December, thanks to Teia's Cohort 2. That's a lot of people deciding to host something just because they want to. If you could make one Tezos gathering happen, online or in person, what would it be?

A lot of what makes Tezos easy to use was built by someone most of us never thanked. A library, a wallet fix, a person answering questions at 2 AM. Who's a builder whose work you lean on without thinking? Tell us below, and nominate them for the Community Rewards Program: tezoscommons.org/rewards

tezoscommons.orgCommunity RewardsThe Community Rewards Program (CRP) is a Tezos Commons Foundation initiative aimed at fostering adoption and supporting the Tezos ecosystem.

Something fun is happening around Tezos lately: people are building little towns. TezTowers just opened a warehouse district, Tezonia turns the Tezos Index into a place you can walk around, and TezCity grows one invite at a time. Nobody asked them to. What have you built just because?

Collectors who buy because they can't stop looking at a piece are doing real work for this ecosystem. What's a Tezos work in your collection that still makes you pause when it shows up in the grid? Not for the flip. Just because it stuck.

Artz Friday is two days out. Every week we spotlight a Tezos artist, and the community always shows up. Who should we feature next? Tag them below.

Someone discovering Teia today might simply see a place to find and collect art. Someone who lived through Hic et Nunc shutting down, and watched people organize to keep things going, sees something else too. Same platform, but there's an entire history behind what each person sees.

Tuesday Tezday hit episode 200 this week. Yann Régis-Gianas from Nomadic Labs joined us to talk Quantumnet, Tezos X, and where Tezos is heading from the engineering side. What's possible now, what's still being figured out, and what's next? 🎧 radio.tezoscommons.org

We’ve spent the last few weeks going deep into Tezos and post-quantum cryptography. Now that conversation is heading to TOKEN2049, where Arthur Breitman will tackle a big question: is quantum computing an existential threat to crypto? Baking Sheet is now out!

🏛️ The agora was where ancient citizens gathered to shape policy. Tezos carries that idea on-chain: anyone can run a node, become a baker, and help shape how the protocol evolves. Proposals are debated openly on forums like Agora, then voted on and adopted on-chain. Learn more ↓ tezosagora.org/learn

We used to wait for one image to load, square convex screen, line by line, top to bottom, modem screaming. Now massive feeds of digital art fill the screen instantly, high-res and endless. All that's left is finding the art you love. objkt.com

Tezos has an experimental network running right now to test what a post-quantum stack could look like. Quantumnet is testing new account signatures, consensus signatures and a quantum-resistant DAL together. Much more concrete than “we’re thinking about quantum resistance.”

Ledger Wallet just added support for a wider range of Tezos FA tokens, including USDt, YOU, TEIA and TEDv. If you use a Ledger, those assets can now be sent and received directly through the hardware wallet. Small change. Pretty useful one.

Kento just crossed $150K on Kickstarter with more than 660 backers. Season 01 turns Tezos digital artworks into physical cards with on-chain counterparts. That’s 660+ people backing the idea of taking Tezos art off the screen and into their hands.

Tezos Community Week keeps rolling today with Gartic at 19 UTC. Game #32 has an artwork prize: “Clear Depths” by Agustini Tandean. Somebody gets the art. Everybody else gets to find out how well they draw under pressure.

Saturday afternoon feels like a good time to wander around Tezos and see what people are making. Art, weird little experiments, games, tools, things that probably started because somebody thought, “I wonder if this would work.” That part never gets old.

Our Gem of the Week is, Qartsi, curious explorer of art in its many forms, who says they thrive where innovation meets authenticity. That explains why Qartsi was one of the very first artists to mint on hicetnunc in 2021. From paint to pixels, manual to coded, there is so much to discover. 🧵

The more traditional side of Qartsi's art brings curiosity mixed with contentment. Peaceful, serene tapestries meet elegantly composed poetry in the metadata. “Between Water and Memory” is a strong example, a reflection over water and rolling hills with a somewhat impressionistic touch to detail.
