Just got my first real sale for @avette.eu ✨ super super happy about it. It's a dictation app for macOS, the productized version of what I've been using for a year. It's really very good, I encourage you to download and try it out, should be fresh air after whisper/parakeet/apple stuff x)

I don’t know how people could say that programming and art are completely different disciplines when both workflows involve going ‘This will never work, I’m a failure’, changing one thing, then thinking you might be the smartest person alive

deepseek 1017 is so good what the actual fuck, i could actually see myself doing 99% of my work with just $10 opencode go. literally feels like a whole new class of model compared to what it was like before

Bret Victor is a surprisingly rich source of meaning when you’ve lost your primary source

note to self: wear under eye concealer before next interview had a surprise interview today, the technical bits went great, i probably should not have talked about getting burnt out (and recovering) because i think the guy just heard "he gets burnt out" and pointed out the dark circles LOL

Going to go back to my flat for the first time after the breakup today. Really not looking forward to it. It’s opposite to hers. She won’t be there, thankfully.

It’s harder because she was legitimately the only person I interacted with irl. I know there’s no way the relationship was going to have survived but I wish I didn’t also have to lose the best friend I’d ever had.
