Join us from 4-5PM at FanFest@Home for a brand new stage game...and musical journey at you won't want to miss!

MY ZENOS CUTOUT!!! he was 7'6".....shorter than he actually is (~7'8" ) but i did not want to pay for the 2 more inches LMFAO #art

Video games has decided to discontinue its once leading product, the video game

One more for the afternoon crowd. Two of the last lines of dialogue I wrote on the last BioWare game I shipped.

👋 If you or someone you know is from one of the places or cultures FFXIV devs pulled inspiration from for Dawntrail and have Opinions, positive or negative, that you'd be willing to share for a video on the expac as a whole, please get in contact with me! My network on here is pretty limited,

there is something that i find so amusing any time xiv fans gather up (both at fanfest and gateway) which is that i guess xiv players are used to organizing themselves into formations so orderly lines form simultaneously. at gen cons people just kind of make blobs and shove each other

🫵 YOU are going to come to gateway fate next year

there has been uncommon praise for the food at the convention center in saint charles

Thank you again to the XIV community for being a part of a weekend of energizing good times! People are the core of events, both in production and support, and we're honored to be a place where players can celebrate fandom to the max. Stay tuned for more details and keep being rad to each other!

Our next action items include: 💰Finishing paying the final bills (venue takes a few days) 🧮Logging that data for future budgeting 📎Launching a feedback form 📝Getting a 2028 contract signed Yup, we're looking at making 4.0 happen! Dates are held but no official update until forms are signed.

We appreciate everyone spreading the word and helping support this project during a pivotal point! While we're well-versed in general anime cons, smaller events with a fandom focus are something we've still got a sprout icon on and we thank the community for giving us the privilege to experiment.

A bit more rested exp back in us, so let's do some post-con reporting. First, as it relates to attendance numbers, we had around 970 attendee passes in our system by event's end. If we factor in every artist and activity runner being a XIV fan, safe to say we had 1,000+ Eorzeans on site. Behold!

im going to explode

made it home!! thank you gateway fate 💖💖💖 i don't know where to begin but thank you everyone for your patience and kindness this weekend 🥹💕 with the line especially! extremely grateful to friends and staff checking in with us all weekend and bringing us food and water 😭😭😭 we survived thanks to you

Bleeng bleeng bleeng! Along with 3 *brand new* incoming Linkpearl calls, we'll be bringing back our exclusive videos from April's event! You don't want to miss these 6 special messages from some well-known faces! Be sure to catch them on the hour from 2pm-7pm!

A test of your (typing) reflexes! Keybound Brawler will be landing in the Manderville Gold Saucer on October 28, and the first iteration of the event will be a special collaboration with the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE series! ⌨️ sqex.to/WVAnl

And if you too want to read a few messages from Gateway Fate, here's a slight zoom-in of the cards themselves that should be readable if you open the image separately and zoom in!

Thank you everyone for participating in Letters From Another Star!!! I hope you had fun collecting stationery and reading everyone's messages. The world of Eorzea is truly diverse and yet in many ways...we really are all the same. 🤣

my humble contribution

Presenting: #FFXIV themed Cornhole!!! We hand-painted a set of boards and bags for @gatewayfate.bsky.social

#wolqotd In the Warrior of Light fight Elidibus uses the power of faith people have in WoL to turn into a Primal. What was your OC's reaction realizing that he used the prayers and hopes of their friends, or how do they feel knowing there's enough worship of them as WoL to make a full Primal?

YAYYY DRESS AS YOUR WOL COSPLAY PARTY

Some shots of the community message board at #GATEwayFATE!

oomf asked them and apparently the wrestlers were shown a highlight reel of their fighters about 20 minutes before the show. underappreciated aspect of how fast they nailed the chars.

Long live the king 👑 #ffxiv

I was laughing so fucking hard I almost choked

Thanks to our greatly increased event space, despite surpassing April's attendance already - tickets are still available and will also be available at the door! simpli.events/e/fanfest-asw

Don't let the fomo hit you too hard! We only have 2 weeks 'til one of the largest FFXIV fan celebrations in Canada! And we can't wait to celebrate with you *here*!

Wishing all our friends attending ( and running! ) @gatewayfate.bsky.social another truly wonderful and memorable event this weekend! We can't wait to live vicariously through photos and posts and for a time we can join you again in the future!!
