Being a Pace main in Uma but also being an ECP hater... suffering. I just hate her career!! idk what it is but that honse will NOT give me a good parent loop run to save my life and I'm tired of Plancha being a meta inherit for CMs.

Special shout out to ARTMS for selling a 100% cotton shirt at their show. Respect. Worth the impulse buy I think.

Final! I slept a bit longer than I intended because I am old and tired, but I'm still about 13th in queue for ARTMS. Parking isn't too bad, even though I hate parking in SODO. Wheeeee!!

Here's how the jacket's looking, btw. From here it's just detailing and embellishments. I really need to clean up the lettering.

My silliest flex going to any LOONA-adjacent show is wearing my Nike Court Vision Lows as featured in the Japanese Nike x LOONA CF in 2021. I almost exclusively wear these jawns to shows. One time, an Orbit recognized them.

I saw lots of people on Reddit especially saying the differences between the Blue Blood demo ver and album ver were minor. And I'm just like... do you... do you listen to. Music,??!?

I like both for different reasons, and I'm no audio engineer, but there's a lot more dimension on the demo version. 🤷🏻‍♂️

"I wanna take a nice quiet walk on a cloudy autumn day :)" The Loudest Leafblower Conceived of by Mankind:

The jacket thus far. Still lots to do, lots of detail and embellishment to add, but not bad for two days in. Again, I'm going for a maximalist, religious iconography inspired design.

Been out of Flow Aid for a couple of years now & yesterday I splurged on a new bottle to use for this jacket painting. Acrylic + textile medium on denim = awful, fighting you every inch of the way Add Flow Aid to that = I wanna invite people over JUST to feel how buttery smooth this is 🥹🥹🥹

Starting on my jacket for next week's ARTMS show. I've got this sort of maximalist bejeweled Lady of Guadalupe design in mind, featuring a red-eyed angel as pictured.

GOD i'm still thinking about YCSE. (small spoiler, but I will try to be vague) Something very telling that I keep going back to is her rant about Seyfried's portrayal of her. That seems to show emotion, as well as an understanding of the ramifications of media portrayal; direct contradictions.

Also can't believe the "I know how you feel" / "No, you don't." moment was in the trailer, because that moment in context feels monumentally climactic and like one of the most Real moments I've ever seen from Nathan Fielder. Christ. Probably got the biggest reaction in my theater.

The best documentaries focus on a single subject but are actually about much, much, MUCH more while leaving it entirely up to the viewer's understanding of narrative and film language to divine what. And jesus CHRIST You Can See Everything is about a lot.

I'm grateful I watched this in a theater of people who made the conscious decision to go see a 9:30am showing. There's something to feeling, as an audience, that the tension is broken and we're supposed to start laughing, and then two hours later to collectively realize this is no longer funny.

Theater's jumpin' at 9:00am for the three hour Nathan Fielder collab documentary 🔥

Gonna try to nail my one pot chicken shawarma rice recipe this weekend. I've learned that when I know I'm in a low-energy phase (which I am now), I have to approach every meal prep from an "autism chow" perspective. i.e. This needs to be in one dish, include veggies, and taste good cold.

If it tastes or smells even slightly weird after reheating, I will be put off the entire remainder of the prepped food. This isn't about it going bad! I refuse to eat most leftovers after four days. It's a specific quality that reheated chicken especially has. One of my worst food aversion triggers

The good ol' grocery store block of parmesan that's worth it, because it lasts forever and you know you'll use all of it sure ain't going as far as it used to I'll tell you what.

The Best in Jest is a fantastic YouTube show because 1) funny and 2) you get to see a human being with actual latent psychic abilities deny that he has latent psychic abilities while continually proving it in the dumbest ways, week after week.

So the time-honored tradition of K-Pop filing the serial numbers off the structure and sound of a popular song to make it a K-Pop hit is well discussed at this point. Dumb Dumb is Bang Bang. Star by LOONA is Blinding Lights. Many such cases. But ☝️ I have a corollary to this..

They're like fraternal twins but one is at the club and the other is at the No Kings rally. They are both registered DSA, though.

Moody Night by Brown Eyed Girls (2010) is K-Pop Uprising by Muse. These songs released within TWO WEEKS of one another, so this is a convergent music phenomenon. I'm not insane. Moody Night is about wlw sex. That is a fact, look it up. So that's a big difference. Otherwise, holy crap.

I feel like I'm losing my mind reading the excited reactions to the "open source AI Adobe alternative" thing. Adobe is terrible and I want their loss of revenue to reflect their loss of consumer goodwill, but y'all. It's not that simple. There's a reason there are whole teams supporting

Fundamentally I'm still saying "AI doesn't actually know shit, it's just fancy Ask Jeeves and/or a Bad Plagiarism machine" and that extends to technical stuff, computer stuff. All that is made by humans even though it's controlled by evil corporate entities, the work devalued by systems of greed.

It just feels fucked up to see everyone be like "ooohh the plagiarism machine might be worth it if poor artists can stop being exploited by Adobe." The problem is systemic!! There will ALWAYS be another Adobe!! You think the AI itself isn't an Adobe? LET US OWN THINGS WE PAID FOR.

a single software program. I deeply appreciate the enthusiasm of the open source community, but average consumers deserve to own reliable software they pay for, AND developers deserve to be paid for that work. Because it's several full time jobs, at scale. Also there is so much you can't just

use AI to reverse engineer about complex software that interacts with files, input devices, and extremely complex technical specialties like digital color. And, like... good?? Because I'm conflicted. Adobe is EVIL. They suck so bad. But the teams who create their software Know Their Shit.

It's natural to assume cats knock stuff off counters because they're assholes, but watching Duck move something back and forth on the table, switching paws, eventually knocking it off, I'm thoroughly convinced he's trying to pick things up. My boy would be unstoppable and horrible if he had thumbs.

This was so simple before I decided to add their guitars, then I got REAL sweaty about working from references while staying cartoony and loose. Anyway, I think Susie!John turned out very cute.

Gonna be a movie heavy weekend for me, as I want to go check out Digger before someone spoils me, also You Can See Everything (obviously). Remarkably I also still haven't seen Primetime, but I've also been broke. Theater time.

Imagine someone wrote/drew a spellbinding work of fantasy adventure with a wholly unique world, great characters, incredible emotional highs and lows, and stunning artwork. But ☝️ watch out! Every time you lower your guard they hit you with some extremely weird fetish shit. That's Made in Abyss.

I fucking LOVE MiA, for the record, but it's in Spite of the weird shit that litters it like some bizarre form of rent-lowering gunshots. Seriously how does one write something like the story of Irumyuui, and then turn around and give us "the key to this relic is my armpit scent 💖" foh

The thing about reading Umineko is that it kinda sucks and you wonder why you're even still reading it, right up until it doesn't and you don't, and also you are no longer the same person.

Legitimately how. I brought the opposite of heat to Round 1. I brought Crushed Ice to Round 1. I just want those participation rewards fr. My cope Seiun Sky is my win leader and she was my C string pick. CMs are fake.

My nose had 80% structural failure at this point in the afternoon, but I still served. The Undertale Symphony was a great experience, I'm glad we went! Plus I got to have a fun day trip with my bestie.

The nose is gonna be okay, by the way, I just need to reattach it with some contact cement and screws this time instead of tacks.

16 years ago a show about pastel ponies and friendship made its television debut that would forever change the course of many people’s lives. Lauren Faust help create something truly wonderful and everyone that worked on it kept that vision alive for nine seasons 💜🦄 #mlp #mylittlepony

if you wear a casio watch, the only way to set an alarm is to give it to a two-year-old and let them play with it. the only way to turn the alarm off is to bump your wrist on something eight weeks later. there is no other way to turn the alarm on or off
