In my experiences of abuse, men have always been complicit. I was sadly the victim of sexual abuse as a kid. You know who pinned me to the ground so she could do what she wanted? Her brothers. And yet I’m lucky enough as a man to not carry a daily fear of assault like women must.

I feel like I have so much I want to say but it’s just this incoherent ramble. But do you know how much it weighs on me to be the one woman on staff at GameSpot? To be one of VERY few women in the industry? To be one of ever fewer moms? To walk into press events and be the *sole* woman?

If you're doing PR or sending keys or whatever, essentially cold calling YouTube/Twitch channels with a game, I assure you that you do not need to have AI gin up some fake list of things that you "saw and enjoyed" on the channel to make that message have impact. That stuff just makes you look fake.
