Almost at the end of #mathober but there's always time for an INDEFINITE QUADRATIC, which is today's prompt and here's a nice zine I made. Never heard of that meaning of "definite" before, but I guess it makes sense there'd be a term for it! PDF: https://katiesteckles.co.uk/mo27

Corrected version with the inequalities on the last page the right way round! Weirdly have had no corrections sent through about the third page

Doritos chilli heatwave with a cheese slice and some chilli crisp drizzled in it; Lister's steak and ale crisps with ploughman's pickle; both in a tiger roll, served with salad and cocktail sausages #CrispSandwichDay

Next month I'm going to do a thing called "No-zine-vember" where I try to go a whole month without making a zine

A sweater I bought was picking up static electricity, so I returned it to the store. They gave me another one free of charge.

I've been at it on the Geogebra again for today's #mathober zine: it's all about the ORTHIC TRIANGLE and various other fun constructions you can define on a triangle, which is of course better when you can drag the corners around. PDF: https://katiesteckles.co.uk/mo19

It's the 11th of #mathober and today I have made a little zine about the Problem of Points, which I'd never heard of but has quite a cool story! (PDF to follow later when I'm near a scanner.)

Today's #mathober prompt is Simple Pole, and I've done a little maths zine explaining what one is. (PDF to follow when I get near a scanner).

And I've found time to do a quick zine for today's #mathober prompt, k-Cyclic Graphs. Here's a photo, and I'll add a link to the PDF when I'm near a scanner. Graphs!

Yesterday's #mathober prompt, PARABOLIC ROTATION, led me to a fun yet mysterious function! (No scan just yet as I'm on the road, but will add links later)

Next Tuesday, 6th October, is the next #SciCommBurrito in Manchester - join me and other Manunican communicators (mancuniators) of science for a burrito and a chat from 6.30pm at Tortilla (Manchester Arndale branch). Details at scicommburrito.co.uk
