Voting day in BC is Saturday, October 24. 🗳️ Less than 8% of the world’s population lives in a full democracy. Democracy is messy, but it only works if we show up. Get out and vote, BC. 🇨🇦 #BCPoli #BCElection

Thursday shakeout ride on Maple Mountain with a fresh drivetrain replacement as well as a new shoe/pedal setup. Great to get another ride in before the rain forecast hits 👍🏼

View from Maple Mountain looking down on Crofton during my recent mtb ride. You can see Domtar's now closed pulp mill as the dominant footprint on the landscape. This closure was a main topic in the election & we now have the task of working through this $3 million + property tax loss. #bcpoli

I have lost track of how many people have conveyed to me on the doorstep that they watched the leaders debate specifically to see what Emily had to say, and they came away wanting to vote Green. I could not be more proud to be running with her. #votegreen

“Too many people who voted NDP their whole lives are watching rents climb, being sent to the picket lines and are wondering who is still fighting for them,” Green Leader Emily Lowan said in an interview with The Tyee. thetyee.ca/News/2026/10...

It's the return of the vibrant green moss season on Vancouver Island. Once the seasonal rains start (wow what a dry fall) the ferns and moss will be even more amazing. #vancouverisland #bikesky #moss #getoutdoors #cowichanvalley

The warm sunny days of fall is the trend this week as I hit the trails for another ride in North Cowichan, this time on Maple Mountain yesterday. Oh and thank-you Alberta on shutting down the nonesense on seperation. Please do the same for leadership at your next election. #canpoli #ohcanada

Don't fall into the tech hype and Tesla BS of Musk and his car circus events, remember and remind everyone going forward that he is directly responsible for the death of innocent Ukrainian civilians this past week. This is what you've been warned about with #techoligarchs & their influence.

Oh the amazing things we could do in Canada by shifting just the subsidies for fossil fuel energy alone into clean energy.

Grateful for several hours sweating & working hard on the bike yesterday on a nearby mountain trail network. I'm grateful for the physical benefits but also for the mental health benefits of being disconnected & in nature. Especially during an election campaign in our modern social media era #bcploi

Following online discussions, one of the number one complaints is about multiplexes not having parking. But — If you have parking on your property, why do you care if they park on the street? And if you don’t have parking on your property, how can you complain that they don’t either?
