The day after the Star Fox Direct, Nintendo filed two JP trademark applications for it. They already owned the word mark (text) since 1992 but I believe the design mark (logo) is new. Two new classes are added: 18: Leather goods/travel gear 25: Clothing/footwear So… Star Fox boots are coming?
