Tired: Reality show host president of the US Wired: Oscar blowout king of the world

Erin Fogg says Free Link@criminalerin.bsky.social

There's a bunch of guys I would like to see that happen to I want Nathan Fielder to get HBO to pay to build a fake White House for Trump to be president for life in and we can all pay like $20/hr to call him on the phone and pretend to be world leaders and solve both global hunger and homelessness

It’s been a long time since I’ve baked. Have made bread two weeks in a row. It feels good (and has still been yummy), even if I’m a little rusty.

It’s Coming Out Day. That shit is scary. Especially right now. You shouldn’t have to keep yourself a secret. Not for family, friends, safety, or job security. But only you can decide the ifs/whens. The most important thing on a day like this is to love yourself, whatever that means in your life.

I managed to take the leap before I hit 40. Barely. It probably still wasn’t the wisest course at that time. But it was the necessary one. I like who I am. I am settling into myself more each day. So much of what we talk about is bullshit and trauma, and that’s very real, but so is the joy.

Babe wake up. New Halloween costumes just dropped.

These 1920s costumes for dancing — more sculpture than clothing — by the avant-garde couple Lavinia Schulz and Walter Holdt, were born of an artistic philosophy of suffering: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/tanzmasken

Some incredible plays. Defense on both teams was on point. One of the best games I’ve seen in a while.

Un-freaking-real. Jackson Chourio just walked off Mason Miller. Brewers lead the series 2-0. Even on its worst day, Milwaukee finds a way to beat you.

Am neck deep in final edits on the book I finished in June of 2025. It is so far away from where that draft was. If me from that time were to read what I have now, she’d absolutely say, “What the fuck have you done?” And immediately follow it with, “This kicks ass.” So excited to share this soon.

Forget the World Series. The best part of MLB postseason is right now. Short wildcard series, teams realizing they should have won more games in July, and racoons-in-a-dumpster desperation for one more week of relevance. Nothing beats it.

For my evening friends. (Still stoked!) 👇🏻

Jack Bedell@jackbedell.bsky.social

Absolutely stoked to have four Nutshell Studies based on Frances Glessner Lee’s dioramas up at @bulbregion.bsky.social today! Huge gratitude to @sarpsozdinler.bsky.social for inspiring these, and for giving them a perfect home! bulbregion.com/Nutshell-Stu...

Awake so much earlier than I’d planned today. But I had a dream I was in a huge (miles across) tent of grey canvas, and it looked like the sky was collapsing. All the other people there had dolls and were eating chili, and I just wanted to get out.

Gearing up to self-pub some things I’ve been sitting on for too long. Have a couple old poetry chapbooks and a longer fiction piece I’m touching up. Be prepared for good weirdness.

Afternoon of writing ahead. Time to send out a few poems and some new flash, and see what lands before December. Feeling behind, despite completed projects this year and having a large amount of work submitted right now.
