gofund.me/7b38d2005 Guess its about that time that I need to come around and beg for help paying for the medications that are a hell to source. So far my best solution is to drive a hundred miles away to a pharmacy that carries it.

gofund.meDonate to Tris' Gender-Affirming Care, organized by Tristan KasingerI am a 36 year old trans woman who is raising money for gender-affirming surger… Tristan Kasinger needs your support for Donate to Tris' Gender-Affirming Care

So fun to spend 6 months having my life ruined by the medication shortage and then find out its gotten bad enough its got a John Oliver segment now.

On a personal note, yesterday was really special to me for another reason. I felt like a full woman, confident and open. In a way, it was public a coming out after transition (which was no small feat!) Just gives me warm fuzzies thinking about it.

Will post more photos on the press account, but our first ever signing was a huge success. A friend brought Soph flowers! And another had a get-together after with gluten-free cake. Just lovely and so happy people came out to get Mara and listen to Soph read. Very proud.

We're giving away a copy of Mara, one paperback and one e-book. (Also, the book signing was a success! Was lovely to connect with new folks)

It definitely aims high and I think that's what makes this such an amazing book. There's no easy answers here because its all of this and more.

It's also desperate and personal. It's sweaty and lusty. It's a story about survival, told in a way that should (hopefully!) pull you in and take you on a journey. It aims high, and I love it for that reason. If you're curious, there are sample chapters available here: prismata-press.itch.io/mara

Let kids transition before puberty. There is no reason for them to suffer hormone damage.

honestly? quote this with your maximalist approach to trans rights Trans people should have right of first refusal for every punishment given to the perpetrators; WE get to set the floor. I want the right of recompense. The families who erased their trans children should themselves be erased.
