Sorry to wax political, but.. I am *extremely* pleased to see the landslide victory for the Labor party in Australia. Along with Canadian’s speaking out in their own election, we are seeing strong displays of Anti-Trumpism. BIG shift from 2024! I sincerely hope white Americans are paying attention.

I hear Boeing has a new fighter jet announced for the US military. This is exciting news that I believe every American citizen should celebrate. Let’s all chant its name together.. F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47! F-47!

I endured a couple years of ridicule thanks to being labeled a satanist by a Junior High principal. Why? I loaned a DMG to a neighbor kid, who left it in his desk, and I had my name written on the inside cover. The saddest part is I had never even gotten a chance to play yet. The books were a gift.

I am enjoying my experience on Bluesky but I must admit I’m concerned with the level of political content I’m seeing in my feed. I accept some responsibility and am trying to avoid excess engagement, which isn’t exactly ideal but I understand it’s necessary for the algorithm to understand my needs.

NGL this guy currently ranks among my favorite human beings since I discovered his YT channel. IMHO he *is* the novel element in his videos. He offers an entertaining deep dive into some really interesting topics, with a bit of quirk and injections of amusing deadpan humor ..what’s not to love?

Side-note: I am an old soul, which is probably apparent enough, but I've noticed a fair deal of folks express that they are only interested in novel things. I, for one, think it's cool to look backward at least enough to see how the world *has* changed and not just how it *is* changing.

A lot of people lately are conflating novelty with unfamiliarity. It explains all the responses of "this isn't new" to explanatory pieces which aren't claiming to be presenting new information. They're just trying to increase awareness.

I hope to find inspiration to get back into creative mindset. Without saying too much, I find it hard to do many things anymore, including picking up a pencil ..but I have a rare and recent doodle made on a 3x5 index card to share with my new Bluesky friends.

I think I may be dating myself with this question: If classic rock is classic rock, then what happened to classic rock that was classic rock before classic rock became classic rock?

Today is one of the hardest days of my life bc I had to say goodbye. She was a special girl. I loved her dearly but the entire world stands between us and we couldn't make it work. We both had our walls and we both pretended to be stronger than we are. My heart is shattered. I think I broke hers too

OK, I'm back! [echos in the empty room] I had to tie up loose ends over at the social network that shall not be named and I'm ready to dive in here on Bluesky. so... how does this place work again? No clue.I hear there's been some feature updates, somebody please tell me what's new.

You are up to date.
