It’s so low effort. This is redbaiting propaganda, first of all, and it’s poorly written. The first line contradicts the third.

This is like Comicon but for middle-aged, divorced white dudes whose daughters immediately went no contact as soon as they turned 18.

Armed gun owners in VA showed up outside the State Capitol in Richmond this afternoon to rally against new gun control measures. Governor Spanberger is due to sign into law a ban on the sale of assault weapons & large capacity magazines in the state. Oh, and the larger the gun the smaller the penis

The Joint Statement by the three parties is weak. We need to be absolutely unequivocally clear about one thing. It is AMERICANS and ISRAELIS who should be advocating for revolutionary defeatism, not the people of Iran.

“The war of aggression launched by the Netanyahu criminal government and the United States Imperialism in the early hours of Saturday morning against Iran has ignited a full-scale war and dragged the region and its peoples towards more disasters and civilian casualties

all in the service of imperialist interests, against the interests of peoples, their independence and their right to self-determination in an effort to dominate and control the region and the world.”

I’ve tried to make the shift from shitposts to serious work. Over the past year we’ve grown from 0 to nearly 4,000 subscribers on substack. My writing does not get pushed by the bluesky algorithm at all, but it would mean the world if you took a minute to check out my page.

We must always fight imperialism at every level on every continent. I do believe it is the greatest threat to humanity, not least because it makes people abandon theirs. It is a long essay, but I think it’s well worth the read. Please check it out if you have the time.

Nuclear weapons dominate our imagination, but are they truly humanity’s greatest threat? In my latest essay, I argue that the bomb is only the most dramatic expression of a deeper system: imperialism. open.substack.com/pub/simplify...

I just want to put it out there that I have been a longtime hater of The Atlantic. They are a neofascist publication and have been since the beginning—they just don’t even try to hide it anymore, like at all.

Frame it.

To be a revolutionary is higher than being a patriot. A revolutionary fights for the improvement of the social conditions of the people around them. A "patriot" fights for a flag and an ideology. Be a revolutionary.

Most people think exploitation means low wages or bad bosses. For Marx, it means something far more structural: profit itself depends on surplus labor. Rising wages don’t eliminate exploitation. They can intensify it. New essay: open.substack.com/pub/simplify...

open.substack.comWhat Does "Exploitation" Actually Mean? This essay explains labor-power, surplus value, absolute and relative surplus value, and why profit arises structurally under capitalism.

Climate collapse is not an accident. It’s the predictable outcome of an economic system built on endless growth, fossil finance, and asset protection. A longform breakdown of why reform keeps stalling and what systemic change would actually require. open.substack.com/pub/simplify...

open.substack.comClimate Collapse Is Not an AccidentThis essay argues that climate collapse is structurally embedded in capitalism. It examines why reform repeatedly stalls and what systemic change would require.

Starting this one today! I've been putting this one off for a little while because I didnt know if I had the stomach to read through yet. But decided just to rip the bandaid off get it over with. The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang

Fun fact: Harry Truman vetoed the Taft-Hartley Act, calling it a "slave-labor bill." Unfortunately, the majority of his party in Congress disagreed with that assessment and voted to pass the legislation anyway. Notable opponents included progressive Vito Marcantonio & populist Wayne Morse.

Far from being a consequence of the Red Scares, racial divides were manufactured by the state to defend against the ultimate threat: a multiracial labor movement and a collective class consciousness transcending artificial segmentation. My newest piece: open.substack.com/pub/simplify...

open.substack.comStop Being a SpectatorA Marxist analysis of the Red Scares as a racial project: “Americanism,” the “alien radical,” deportations, blacklists, and the crushing of solidarity.

Workers don’t lack power. They lack organization. New piece: where union power actually comes from, and how solidarity unionism rebuilds it on the shop floor. Direct action. Rank-and-file control. Practical tactics. open.substack.com/pub/simplify...

open.substack.comPut the Union Back in Workers’ HandsA practical guide to solidarity unionism and rank-and-file organizing. How workers build real power through direct action, shop-floor networks, and collective struggle.

I've gotten my dad to accept socialism in everything but name, and I am very open about my writing and socialist views on campus, which to be fair, I think is preventing me from the school employing me, but classmates and fellow students are receptive. The students yearn for socialism.

socialism is the moderate position now

Fascism didn’t die in 1945, it changed shape. My new essay looks at how it works today: the U.S. state fused with big capital, surveillance everywhere, democracy managed so it serves the few. Dropping tomorrow, 1/26 at 8:30AM EST.

This is state terror, plain and simple. ICE is a paramilitary arm of the ruling class, wielded to crush dissent and enforce the interests of capital. Alex’s death is not an accident. We cannot mourn quietly. We must rise, organize, and confront the institutions that kill to protect profit and power
