No, I wasn't wrong. The fact that this still hasn't been resolved shows that the mutual blame game between Donald and Elon is a way to leave you with the unavoidable conclusion that they are both fine with this decision and that they took this decision together.
I was wrong, it wasn't Donald who ordered starlink to reduce speed. That is my mistake. It was Musk. Trump tells the truth sometimes and we should keep that in mind. It's his way of making sure we keep listening.

But this is a high level critical decision of his administration and he would like to find out who took that decision? That's another way of saying, "It wasn't me." And so it should count as a confession: He made that decision.

All right, folks! If you are able to, you may want to rush to Bloor and Islington ASAP where bike removal crews are setting up! We must keep the pressure on until the Ford government backs off for good. 🚨🚲🚨 #BikeTO #TOpoli #ONpoli #VisionZero www.reddit.com/r/torontobik...

The Carney gov't wants to declare the Deep Geological Repository, a burial and abandonment project for all of Canada's high level nuclear fuel waste, a “Project of National Interest”, thereby bypassing any impact assessments of health and safety. #cdnpoli #onpoli shrlnk.ca/s/uF2sKlSV
Let's make sure you're buying and supporting Canadian made cruelty? Let's be patriotic about our own nastiness? Boycott animal agriculture. I use vegan egg all the time in cooking: one table spoon of ground flax with 1 and a half table spoon of water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Other options exist...
Right, but taxing the rich will make the state rich and will lead to a conflict of interests where the state wants to help the rich because they are alike. Only when you limit the amount of money that a person can possess, do you possibly have a workable solution.
Remember: Wealth cannot be separated from power. We're seeing in real time how the extreme concentration of wealth is distorting our politics, rigging markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Taxing the rich isn't just an economic issue, it's a defense of our democracy.

This is big news. It's also news that big oil company don't want you to spread because you're more likely to notice how corruption is the only thing that keeps them polluting the present and future. When there's a solution to a problem, the problem has a problem.
☀️ Solar has officially overtaken nuclear. In 2025: ☀️ Solar: +510 GW 🌬️ Wind: +159 GW ☢️ Nuclear: +1.5 GW Solar also generated more electricity globally than nuclear for the first time. The energy transition isn't waiting around. shrlnk.ca/s/flW8XLIG
I wonder if most Canadians boycotted this law by going #vegan if it would get reversed in a hurry. #Veganism means less use of pesticides (including the unhealthy onea now permitted). But it also means a reduced GDP, and that might get Carney's to react. Boycotts are still legal. Let's act.
Not to be outdone, Mark Carney also seized the opportunity to approve use of banned pesticides. Cabinet can permit use of pesticides Health Canada has determined pose unacceptable health or environmental risks, for economic reasons. Profit over health. 8/ www.canadianaffairs.news/2026/07/03/c...

When it sounds too good to be true, it isn't always untrue.
☀️ Solar panels cost $5-$6/watt around 2000. Today? Around 12 cents/watt. The FT calls solar “offensively cheap.” Meanwhile, Ontario is planning enormously expensive new nuclear. Let’s give cheaper, faster renewables a fair shot. shrlnk.ca/s/QdTLdbI3

Right, just like a smoker needs to stop smoking, as informed to do so by a doctor. I am all for it.
David Suzuki: “We need to declare an emergency that changes everything” “We’re on a path to extinction. When there’s an emergency, like a war, economics are set aside. That’s how we need to treat this: by using every technique available to win this war.”
Don't look at me!
FOI clampdown: Ford govt verbally told shocked staff to halt all FOI requests & repeatedly refused to put the directive in writing: “I can’t believe this is the intent– to put a hold on all work in the FOI community. Can you double-check…This doesn’t seem right” globalnews.ca/news/1204843... #onpoli
We have over a dozen political parties but only two of them are regularly selected to govern and only three parties regularly get their candidates elected. When only the same two goods in a store get purchased they end up with only their packaging being different. And both become misleading.
Shop at any of these grocery stores? Kroger Fred Meyer Ralphs Food for Less Mariano’s Smith’s Harris Teeter Seems like a lot of competition—except that every one is owned by Kroger. Now Kroger is trying to buy another: Giant Eagle. And when competition dies, you pay more.
I think we should rename the Lake Ontario the E. Jean Carroll Lake. A rape victim who got a big settlement against the US President deserves even more. Let's honor her by having her name grace our Great Lake. You have to big up the victims. Then the bullies go quiet. www.cbc.ca/news/world/t...
Canada is short on FAIR leadership. Our leaders were elected using a dysfunctional voting system that is being gamed by unscrupulous and complicit opportunists. We urgently need to get rid of First Past The Post voting and adopt Proportional Representation.
🇨🇦 #Canada can’t be a #climate leader while expanding fossil fuels. Instead of spending billions on new oil infrastructure, we should be building the #renewable energy and stronger east-west grid Canada needs for a secure, affordable, climate-safe future. ☀️🌬️⚡ shrlnk.ca/s/drBNmkEv
Boycott is too weak an action in this case. Black listing Google makes much more sense. A boycott is against a company that try to serve clients but does wrong along the way. Now, by its actions, Google has just proven to be there to serve the government. You don't boycott that, you banish that.
Boycott Google, as it shamelessly panders to that idiotic vulgar slob.
To de-Google means to de-Nazifying. I am all for it.
Here are some ways to “De-Google” your life. Other suggestions welcome. If this latest corrupt capitulation to Trump isn’t enough for you, read @doctorow.pluralistic.net’s Enshittification chapter on how Google killed competition and then deliberately made their products worse to increase revenue.
Judges say Ford's attempted killing of cyclists is legal because it's political policy. Political action is above the Constitution. This sounds a lot like fascist judges or paid off stooges. Police! Police! That's just a rhetorical call in emptiness toronto.citynews.ca/2026/08/14/f...
My name is also the reason you can't have proportional representation in Canada.
My name is not raising your gas prices. My name is not the reason we’re in an illegal war. My name is not the reason you can’t afford your healthcare. My name is not the reason that you can’t afford your rent or your insurance.
A bunch of cops cheering at a political rally in uniform is a paradox. It definitely isn't normal, and in fact, it isn't possible. Here you know that what you see can't be what it is. The police force simply fails to live up to its name. Monkeys in police uniforms are still monkeys.
A bunch of cops cheering at a political rally — in uniform — as the president and AG endorse a candidate and attack their political opponents is not normal. And it is not okay.
Yes. I remember one Ford, (was it Doug or Rob?) saying that bicycles (regular ones) didn't belong on the road. And if a truck is going to hit it well, you can deduce he'll blame it on the "dangerous" cyclist in any case. These bullying politicians dominate the narrative and it's so darn maddening.
I think you need to call that supreme corruption not because our Supreme Court would rubber stamp it--I am sure they would--but because unlike with other people, police doesn't go after blatantly and brazenly corrupt actions when it's elected officials doing it.
It should happen even earlier than that, however. Solar technology is already improving year over year. As is battery technology. We can literally buy this stuff off the shelves and install it, but our corrupt, no-good government is Hellbent on rebuilding coal we have to shut down in about 3 years.
World leaders have power only because these narcissists have narcissist feed, people. We need to see action from the narcissist's feed, the people. Go vegan, fight fossile fuel use. Don't wait for worldeaders as they are 89% parasites hooked on fossil fuels.
We’re not even at the peak of El Niño yet, but the wildfires across Europe and the floods in South Asia are already devastating. Will we ever see real and urgent climate action from our world leaders?
Find a nice big jail cell for all his supporters in the corporate mass media and the PP supprters in the corporate mass media who actually hoped to do that themselves? And also find one for Mark as well? Send our psychologists after him and his team? Ask for a revolution? The time is running out?
Mark Carney has: -scrapped consumer carbon tax -scrapped oil/gas emissions cap -cut $1.3B from environment Canada -weakened industrial carbon pricing -axed 2 billion trees program -approved 1M barrels/day pipeline -weakened greenwashing laws While this is happening:
