Moved my workspace to a dedicated room, cozy and quiet, a little while ago. I really enjoyed decorating the space. This week, I kicked off a new client project too. 🌿💻🏺

Tiny Side Project: Muxt View your feeds from X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Threads, and Reddit in a unified layout. Built this yesterday to keep track of curated accounts across platforms. ✴︎ grayscale + color mode ✴︎ focus mode dims peripheral columns ✴︎ smart scroll sync ...

I published my first blog post (ever) It’s a technical deep dive on building a headless Webflow blog stack using Notion & Cloudflare Workers. 🎨 Design in Webflow 📝 Write in Notion ⚡️ Render on the Edge I’ve open-sourced the code and Notion template (+ db) so you can build it too. Link below ⬇︎

I want to work on a larger external monitor but Apple ruined me. The >M1 MBP displays are just too good. Perfect blacks, high brightness, color accuracy, ProMotion. Even the €5k+ XDR doesn’t give me 120hz.

Export code in Webflow is a powerful feature. You take back control over hosting limits and cost - but it's a tedious manual process. FlowTube Chrome extension 1.1.0 is packed with new features and improvements to supercharge your Webflow to GitHub & Cloudflare workflow. Quick 45-sec tour ▶️

These are the only 2 files you need to self-host Webflow sites on Cloudflare 🫢 (deploy from GitHub, even on the free tier) Will update FlowTube Chrome extension to optionally generate these for you ⚙️ (+ sitemap.xml & robots.txt)

Creative momentum fades. Make something small every week. Not for the likes. Not for your portfolio. Just to keep your mind sharp.

🟣 Created a no-code automation using Make to route Webflow forms to different email recipients. Tip: use SMTP if you want to save your client a lot of headache, as Gmail can require a *lot* of Google Cloud setup.

Google’s been reviewing my Chrome extension publications consistently in ~3 days. Which isn’t too bad(?) Still, I find it a bit annoying the updates aren’t visible instantly. 🙁

After years of manually uploading Webflow exports to GitHub, I built a solution. ⚡ FlowTube — a free Chrome extension that auto-deploys your WF code to GH repositories. ✅ Eliminates tedious workflows ✅ Secure transfer & processing ✅ Multi-repo support Learn more at flowtu.be or see how... 1/2

flowtu.beFlowTube — Export Webflow Code To GitHub In SecondsSay goodbye to tedious drag-and-drop workflows and automatically sync your Webflow site to GitHub repositories with enterprise-grade security.

Never mind. 🔥 I used Claude to convert my SVG logo into a 3D rotating object with Vanilla Three.js. This is exactly what I needed. Adjusting the parameters is easy, but I do prefer a live visual editor. If anyone has recommendations, please share. 🙏

Any recommendations for 3D software as intuitive as Spline but w/o the subscription? The object(s) must be embeddable on the web.

By accident, I found out you can open custom code embeds in Webflow by double-clicking them in the Navigator. 😆 I always went into the settings panel. 🤦‍♂️

Photo from last week, but tonight is no different. I've started working on renewing my personal website—which will better showcase my remote freelance services. Building the design in Webflow rn. 💙 One more thing... soon. 🤫

I would go 1 step further and create a separate Gmail account just for your newsletters. Set up filters for each newsletter → skip inbox → mark as read → forward to → [your new email]. Do this for a while and you'll find eternal peace at your desk. 🧘‍♂️ Example (one of many):

Stumbled upon AnythingLLM while searching for a BYOK AI chat app that doesn't break the bank. Grok-2 immediately starting to act cool and all. (shoutout to lawand.io for the sleek macOS taskbar)

One of my favourite UI patterns is using `backdrop-filter` to create a “frosted glass” effect. When I see this effect in the wild, though, it’s almost never as lush and realistic as it could be. There’s an important optimization that nobody makes. ✨ I share the secret sauce in my brand-new post:

joshwcomeau.comNext-level frosted glass with backdrop-filter • Josh W. ComeauGlassy headers have become a core part of the “slick startup” UI toolkit, but they’re all missing that final 10% that really makes it shine. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create the most reali...

Created a starter pack for Wized users on Bluesky. 💟 Reply below if you're one of them and want to join. ✨ Repost to connect developers who turn Webflow projects into dynamic web apps. 🔁

Any thoughts on using a ccTLD versus .com for a personal or portfolio website when doing remote freelance work? Does it make a difference in global appearance? 🤔 🌍

Recently shared these photos of my new home office on other platforms, but since I enjoy working here so much, I’m sharing again. 😄 🪴 💻 🔆

Noticed Bluesky opens links in your default browser, instead of an (often lesser) in-app one that keeps you on the platform. 🤌 #UX
