It has officially been 10 years since I launched the very first version of Sofa 🤯, and it’s genuinely wild to see where Sofa is today. If you’ve ever used, looked at, talked about, shared, or even thought about Sofa, thank you. I’m so lucky for this to be my job ❤️. youtu.be/tKDlkaEe5no

📺New Video I’ve officially been a full-time indie developer for two years 🤗! Here’s a video of me yapping about what’s going well and what I’m struggling with. Enjoy! youtu.be/PY9ho0JzrJY

Hey gang, I want to share a little preview for the new @sofahq.social Planner feature that I've been working on, and I just launched the first beta today... Your downtime isn't just about what you watch, read, and play. It's also about where you go and what you do.

Whether you're picking what to watch tonight, listening to your favorite show, or planning your next vacation, it's all there in one easy to use app.

sofahq.comPublic Beta - SofaFrom time to time, there will be public betas for Sofa. The intention of these betas is to test larger, complex features before fully releasing them to every Sofa user.

Join the beta here: www.sofahq.com/beta

With Planner, your experiences get a proper home. No more scattered screenshots, buried notes and emails, or forgotten recommendations. Half the joy is in the planning, and Planner makes that half genuinely enjoyable.

With Planner, Sofa is truly an all-in-one tool for organizing your downtime experiences. • Create lists of things to watch, read, play, listen to, and more • Enjoy your favorite podcasts with a fully-featured podcast player • Plan real-world experiences like trips, celebrations, concerts, and more

Sofa has always helped you organize what to watch, read, and play. But your downtime is more than just media consumption. It's also those concerts you're excited about, next year’s big family trip you're planning, and that new restaurant you've been meaning to try.

Now Sofa helps you organize all the ways you spend your downtime, bringing the same simple approach to real-world experiences.

I’ve got some fun new @sofahq.social stuff coming for beta testing very soon and wanted to share it with you all…introducing Sofa Planner...

Why add a planner to Sofa? People spend their downtime is so many ways, and planning for that downtime can be a big part of it. The goal with Planner is to provide very simple tools to help you plan for, and enjoy your downtime.

And yes, there will be widgets

I’ve got some fun new @sofahq.social stuff coming for beta testing very soon and wanted to share it with you all…introducing Sofa Planner...

When adding a new event, you give it a title, emoji, date (optional), background (optional), and notes (optional). The Planner will automatically organize your events based on its start and end dates. Events will also show a countdown leading up to the event’s start date.

Along with Events, you’ll have the option to add Notes and Tasks. This is intended to give you more flexibility to use the Planner as you see fit.
