SENTINELITE

How to ruin a good thing… this is wild @Withings & not the right thing to be doing. You’ve successfully made me not want to get one now, so I guess mission accomplished!

10 Months ago I applied for the first wave of #OpenAI's Codex Ambassadors. Today was attempt #2. 58B+ Codex tokens. Far, far more over the last 4x years. Everything is changing, yet these last two years have taught me: community is everything & more! 🤍

It's wild to see the AI slop eat the world & yet much of our infrastructure wasn't built for this. To which, this sucks being someone who has dedicated so much of their life to building stuff for others & now it's all just noise. Gah.

I already miss Waymo… :(

Just setting up my DevDay... 🤔

Had my first form filled out from all the AEO/GEO work I've been doing. Super pumped about this! It's starting to feel real!!!

a reminder that i got called slurs for saying that linux is what they call “woke” and that DHH isn’t a good guy. do NOT normalize bigots in our tech communities. it isn’t political, it’s just human decency. retract all omarchy funding. be good.

I'll be in San Francisco the 24th-30th, for @OpenAI's Dev Day & the @BitrigApp Hackathon. Would love to grab a coffee/meal & catch up with any mutuals, VC's or angels. Reply/Send me a DM! 👀

With all the AI, it's hard to know if/when we should be concise vs verbose. What will get truncated or hallucinated? Is there a thing as too much context? How do people trust what they're reading is genuine? Fascinating times for sure!

Looking for a small group of Mac users to test a new Stream Deck plugin I'm making. Please DM me for more info! 👀

Swiping apps away watching years of my life go by, yet most of the world has never seen them… I think it’s time we change that. 🤔

These new camera experiences are neat! Smart Take & the Selfie-View is the sort of thing most won't know how badly they wanted them! A tad bummed the telephoto is 12MP again, and it seemingly lacks the Aperture #AppleEvent

I don't need it. I don't need it... I might need it! Super excited about how this will challenge the UX/UI as we develop apps for iPhone Duo! #AppleEvent

iPhone Ultra is actually named iPhone Duo! 👀 #AppleEvent

No Apple TV Updates today. Sadness. #AppleEvent

New Apple Watch crammed with features, but standouts are the new Live Rewind & Siri Recaps. They seem super handy! #AppleEvent

Lab results finally being a core part of Apple Health. I'm stoked for this one! #AppleEvent

The iPhone Ultra being held for a "One More Thing" is such an Apple move. Haha. #AppleEvent

AirPods 5 are a nice upgrade and they kept the price the same or less than the 4th generation models. That's so refreshing to see! #AppleEvent

Dynamic Aperture finally comes to iPhone! I've been excited for these rumors the past couple years! This is going to be incredible! #AppleEvent

All these battery improvements are insane. Not to mention the performance is 2x better than my 16 Pro. Truly wild. #AppleEvent

This color, though 👀 #AppleEvent

I wonder if we can solve the legibility and padding issues with Grok. 🤔

My #OpenAI #WebMCP #Hackathon project at the intersection if human-agent interactions, natural voice, and contextual understanding. "Put this there", if you will. I have a few more WebMCP things to share, soon! This will unquestionably change how we interact with the web...

I haven't even used Astra, but it's clear from these public samples and demos... This is a monumental release & will change the landscape of human-computer interaction as we know it. Excited to get hands on!

Losing power the last night of this #hackathon wasn’t in my cards… Landed at a local hotel to power through! (& hey, that had a great chocolate mousse)! 😅

Update, I guess they had a change of heart! Fingers crossed! 👀

This entire process was honestly so frustrating. Sucks. #Worlds

Not me ranting about #Agents, #MCPs, Rodeo, Poppy, Linq, #accessibility, & #automation. I haven’t been this excited about tech in such a long time. Like man, we can just build things, truly. What a time to be alive!

Not all tokens are created equally, just remember that, haha.

Now this is how you sunset a company. Huge congratulations to everyone at Instant. I'll never forget doing a deep-dive into the architecture on my flight to Japan! Can't wait to see what you all do at OAI! www.instantdb.com/essays/inst...

Achievement Unlocked: 50K users on Shortcuts for #Elgato's Stream Deck! I can't wait to share what I've been cooking up, I promise you're gonna love it! 👀 #Automation #Shortcuts #OSS

Remember when we could trust ourselves? Now we rely on a swarm of agents as a shield to limit our blast radius. Fascinating.

i've written up some thoughts about AI in the open source world, and more importantly, why humanity is important. its a bit wordy and doomy but this is an important topic right now. there is still a lot of good in the OSS world at least ❤️

Okay hear me out: #ChatGPT Luna running on Cerebras 👀

Anyone remember Adobe XD? Gah, it takes so much mental space in my head. We lost a good one!

Codex crashed and I lost all my side chats... Ah, the pain 💔

Someone tell me I shouldn't go... 😂

Amazing news to close out the week! I got into @anthropic.com OSS program! Thanks, @bcherny.bsky.social & co! #Anthropic #Claude #OSS

Really wish I could set a custom price on the @Elgato Marketplace. Maybe one day.
