Snail walks(?) into a dealership and says, “I want a 240Z, but could you replace the Z with an S?” “Uh, sure,” says the dealer. As the snail speeds away in his new ride, the dealer shakes his head and says, “Look at that S car go…”

My spouse entrusted me with dropping off our ballots. A lot of responsibility, but I came through. 💪😅 🗳️✅🇺🇸

Oh my god we need to get this money out of politics. Its truly no wonder our politicians aren’t listening to us or putting our best interests first…

Q: “Do the sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir?” TRUMP: “You’re a fresh person. A horrible little reporter.” Trump lashes out at another female reporter @albamonica as she asks about Trump’s support for Vivek’s disgusting attack ad weird Epstein’s bestie wouldn’t care about abuse😕

What is beautiful? Why is it beautiful to you? Who is the audience? What effect do you want it to have? Also why does success look like your female colleagues running a lint roller over you? Questions to ponder.

Local news in the hotel lobby on mute but the chiron says "Bronx food bank to close after owner arrested by ICE" and idk if there's a more succinct picture of this administration than that

If we want the US to be less racist? Then we need to address racism. We can't just do nothing and hope the problem kind of goes away by itself.🤡

Musk would do this through those f*cking Trump Accounts they opened in every child's name without parental consent. I HATE these SO much. Parents cannot close the accounts. Parents cannot reject donations to the accounts. And we must hold on to donations for at least 5 years. I'm a state lawmaker.

Democrats and white liberals constantly treat Southern Black voters fighting and overcoming voter suppression as some sort of Aaron Sorkin-esque inspiration porn

Mekka Okereke@mekka.mekka-tech.com

This is not beautiful to see. This is the most racist democracy on planet earth, and people just expect Black people to sing negro spirituals and "overcome." It's not working. This still happens for one reason and one reason only: white US folk don't hold each other accountable for this racism.

I did “landscaping” during summers in high school for spending money. Hot day. Lady had me weeding her gravel driveway. About an hour in, knuckles bleeding, I told her I quit. She tried to pay me for the hour I did work, but I refused. Best decision I made that day. 😂

There is absolutely no viable path forward for this country that doesn’t hinge on extreme accountability for everyone involved in this administration. They’re going to whine about politicization and credulous media types will echo them, but the thing is, they’ve committed tons of obvious crimes!

I do not think an exec branch led by a man who thinks he is entitled to treat federal agents as an arm of his firm, refers to Somali Americans as “garbage” and has said racist things specifically about Omar is capable of neutrally applying the law to her, to put it mildly apnews.com/article/ilha...

So the next time someone who is not an expert in the field concerned loses their mind over some supposedly revolutionary finding…bear this in mind. Whether this has to do with AI or not, it’s just a good rule of thumb. Don’t be someone else’s hype man if you don’t understand what you’re hyping.

You know this is my third or fourth go around with this kind of technological innovation for consumers and citizens. And a lot of it is the same. Same pattern of exaggerated benefits, underestimated challenges. What’s new this time is the sector isn’t even pretending to care about the consumer.

you will encounter more opportunities in life to change the batteries on a smoke alarm than you will to run into a burning building and no one gives a shit you changed those batteries but it is still very important and why are you waiting on a burning building, know what i’m saying, it’s a metaphor

I think what's driving the poor AI marketing is two fold both caused by the culture that has developed in SV 1. The tech industry is dry on hyper growth idea after years of building investor expectations of hyper growth. So they are desperate. 2. Tech investors and leaders are weird af.

In my mind, I am imagining a particular shade, a certain specific color, an ineffable hue. If, by chance, you come to me draped in a robe, your garment dyed with a pigment that matches _precisely_ the tint I have imagined, then —only then!— will you be hired. I pray fortune finds you worthy.

It’s all just so…embarrassing. It’s as if they’re determined to find out just how cringe the government of a global superpower can be. #StupidestTimeline
