I understand and agree with every criticism I see on here, and yet, Ocarina will be a day 1 purchase. That shit is a core memory for me.

@raycast.com Is there every a chance you guys will release a Pro tier that includes Cloud Sync and all that but doesn't include AI? I'm reluctant to pay so much for a feature I'm not even going to use, but I love all the other stuff you do and want to support it!

Using AI to generate this is like a 21 gun salute to victims of school shootings...

I hope that everyone impacted by the truly horrific wildfires in Los Angeles remain safe. Itโ€™s almost impossible to fully comprehend the devastation caused by these fires โ€” the worst in LA history โ€” and my heart goes out to all of you. ๐Ÿ’”

@thestorygraph.com Minor pet peeve, I typically start reading around 11 before I go to bed and finish up shortly after midnight. I want to track this for the day I started reading which means every night I have to go in and edit the date. Would be nice if it defaulted to the previous day before 2am.

Once again for the people in the back, a story isn't "spoiled" if it's told out of chronological order. The original trilogy doesn't spoil Anakin's heel turn, and The Sunlit Man doesn't contain spoilers for Wind and Truth. They were published in that order for a reason, dawg.

All these moments will be lost in time, like glitter in rain

Oh man, it's raining really hard in Vancouver right now, I hope those Swifties will be okay getting out of the concert. The pavement will be soaked with glitter downtown.

In honour of surpassing my (admittedly unimpressive) follower count from Twitter, here's a picture of Pepper with her favourite toy, a reusable Walmart shopping bag.

Duolingo seems to use ever so slightly different fonts for their prompt and response text and I've never noticed before. ๅ…ซ here just looks like ใƒ in katakana for some reason?

It goes deeper. The same thing happened when I wrote this post! Is there actually some distinction when writing this kanji that I'm unaware of or is it just a font quirk? Why would blue sky use different fonts for this though?

Only occurs on android, so presumably just a font thing. I recently learned that traditional and simplified Chinese as well as Japanese, all use an overlapping unicode range, but by convention they render some characters differently. Huge pain when rendering mixed text (i.e. social media posts)

Rare Unity edge case unlocked, if you have a class marked [Serializable] with only parameterized constructors, Unity can still instantiate it, but it just won't assign any of your default member values. That was fun to debug...

I raised this with our Unity support rep, it's not a big deal once you've learned about it, but it feels like an easy trap for a less experienced team to get caught on. Hoping they can fix it, or if it's a limitation of C#, at least warn the users of the potential issue.

* Parallel timelines interacting via shared dream worlds * Doomed timelines that deviate from canon * Key plot mcguffins that only exist because of convoluted inter-timeline shenanigans * Telling you which part of the multiverse you are in by the presence of different anthropomorphic dogs

You are up to date.
