Spiralling global temperatures (1850-2026) It is exactly 10 years since I first put this animated graphic of changes in global temperature online. #ClimateSpiral It instantly went viral. People watched it over and over again. It still offers the power to shock a decade on.

France passed a law in 2022 requiring car parks to install #solar. * Applies if ≥80 spaces * Must cover at least 50% of area * Exemptions (grid constraints, heritage sites) We did it with disabled spaces why not solar? There are obstacles but none are strong enough to justify not doing it at all!

#Miami is going to the championship game but didn't qualify for the ACC championship. #ACC this is embarrassing for the conference. How about you do better.

When Dems are back in the majority, any laws that are written need to be iron clad in their language. There must be no wiggle room and open for interpretation. If it is an independent agency, state it and put in language of exactly what the executive office can and can't do.

NSF is about to dismantle NCAR at Russell Vought's direction to protect the fossil fuel industry. It's hard to communicate just how much NCAR does, so let's take a look: I've never worked at NCAR, and I've worked with NCAR researchers once ever. What scientific discoveries has NCAR made possible? 👇

China's July 2025 solar production was ~50% higher than its July 2024 solar output! China's solar generated 839 TWh in 2024 and will likely exceed 1,200 TWh in 2025. China's solar will generate in 2025 an amount of electricity equal to about 27% of USA's electricity demand. #energysky

If my taxes don’t pave my roads or fix my bridges or keep my schools open 5 days a week or pay local teachers a living wage or help keep my hospital open or help my neighbor’s kid eat lunch or fund public television or my healthcare… Why the f’ck should I pay taxes?
