Bloody hell, a good review of Super Nintendo in the Times. "The upside of MacDonald’s standing is that you won’t find anyone, I don’t think, with a better insight into the nuts and bolts of these games... Here is a book bursting with love." www.thetimes.com/article/cc15...

Hey C64-loving peeps (or anyone interested in European computer game history). The author of a book on the C64 in Poland that sadly failed its physical publishing goal has kindly released a digital version for free. Be sure to toss a coin their way anyway if you download it. It's a gorgeous thing.

I can't believe https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2930276/system-center-2012-r2-data-protection-manager-install-fails-and-genera is still an issue with #SCDPM 2019. I really like the product, I really hate the installation procedure and program.

Worst #WorldCup ever. Doping, lies and cover-ups. https://1.ftb.al/zNTc/gaE1InT30N

Wondering if your upgraded #scdpm 2016 installation uses RCT with your upgraded #WindowsServer 2016 host? Look for the RCT prefix.

Really liking ReFS w #scdpm 2016 Modern Storage. Fast. Efficient. Sane.

Ahh... the smell of a newly released server SKU, with freshly generated base vhdxs. #WindowsServer2016

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2930276 is still an issue in #sysctr #dpm 2016 TP5. Problem is 1.5 years old, now.

Company I work for to be bought by one 100x larger. Seems my SME days may be numbered.

Just rid myself of the final 2012 Hyper-V cluster (in favour of 2012R2, of course). #Server2016, ready when you are.

#SMBDirect falling back to TCP/IP after reboot? Check https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3052127, issue is not Infiniband-only. #SOFS #Hyper-V

Is it me, or has the fix for https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3025091 been pulled? "No public hotfix available" #kb3025091 #StorageSpaces

When a user's eyes glazed over due to #SOFS tech details, I've shown them this: https://madmirko.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/reboot.gif #SMBDirect #R730 #MD3060e

validate-storagepool v2 (https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Storage-Spaces-Physical-7ca9f304) leaves default MSDSM policy at RR after testing, regardless of prior setting. #SOFS
