After 10 arduous months my brother finally finished Metroid Prime 4, so I finally have someone I can discuss the game's insane subtext with.

Finally, I got the game out of the box! Just in time before the remake. I heard this game was good!

We got a place to stay for the next few weeks and let me tell ya it’s a huge relief. Still temporary, still kinda precarious, but this is the first day in ages where I don’t feel like there’s a boot on my throat. Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.

Short version of my sob story is a relative almost killed half my family and drove us from our home. Also I’ve spent the last few years watching my health fail, growing increasingly able to work, leaving me with no money and no credit and few options. But at least I still got my gal. She’s great.
