“Best World” A new name to help collect the Gideon & Bartholomew comics. I’ve been working on a graphic novel(ish) story with these characters for a little while now and it made me think about giving their adventures an actual title, instead of just using my own name as the signature.

Easier to remember, maybe? The name Best World is based on where these two sweets come from. I’m hopeful I’ll get a chance to expand on that meaning at some point but for now, at least, more short goofs.

*TLDR: I’ve been off socials for about a year and surprise I’m back, baby.* Hey friends! It’s been a while, probably a little too long to be fair.

That said, I’ve got a teeny-weeny bit of news to share! I updated my website with some new stuff. I added a few new comics and a bunch of illustrations I haven’t posted before. Still looking to add more (like past publications and other work) but I’m happy with where it is right now.

Perhaps you’d like a cartoon picture of me and a real life one for posterity? You got it. Anyway, thanks for following my stuff. It means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again just a bit more. Ryan

I'm going to try and figure out a nicer + healthier way to be here without being either all the way on or all the way off. Somewhere in between seems right.

It's always interesting seeing other people work through their process and, like, live their lives in pursuit of their creative goals. So I’m going to try to do the same, let people into my process more often. Even if it’s on the scary internet.
