Even her chosen language is purposely evil. ‘Dominant strain’. Implying it’s akin to a ‘virus’. It’s literally the same dehumanising sh*t the nazi propaganda machines spat out. Her lack of humanity is horrific.

As an escapee of Brexit, it’s nice to see the dreaded 52/48 split working the CORRECT way!

Rowling *never* writes about women’s rights, workplace discrimination or the threats to women from predatory men. I tracked her posts for five months: Well over 200 hateful transphobic smears. Not a single post about women’s actual concerns or needs None

Type 1 Diabetes. I was diagnosed aged 11 and had a pancreas and kidney transplant in 2011. It’s wild to think it would have been a death sentence even one generation earlier. I no longer have it!

Fellow WA voters, let's bury this. I can't imagine any parent wants to subject their child to this vile "examination."

Doctors and nurses are voicing their objections. I-638 would require EVERY girl who wants to participate in sports to go through biological sex verification. That means expensive, invasive, and utterly gross examinations. Protect our kids and let them play. Vote NO on I-638

It’s the little chuckles at the end of this that really highlight what a howling vacuum of insight and morality Adam Boulton is.

Saul Staniforth@saulstaniforth.bsky.social

Adam Boulton: "she, in common with a lot of people in Ireland is taking a very strong pro Palestine & I have to say anti Israel & anti Jewish stance" Adam, can you provide evidence that Sally Rooney is taking an anti Jewish stance? Or are you, in fact, lying to smear critics of Israel?

Ex-boss filed a $12 theft charge against an ex-employee because she got a restraining order in response to his creepy behavior. Charge was never prosecuted, but it gave ICE an excuse to arrest and detain her. Congratulations to the 58 Democrats who voted for the Laken Riley Act. You own this.

Believe it or not, I am a British, Sunday Times bestselling author & in that capacity I would like to publicly state the British government is beclowning itself with its ludicrous law depriving rhe courageous (& Irish!) Sally Rooney of the ability to sell books & earn money doing so in the UK.

I have never seen coverage of a live trial, one involving allegations of multiple sex attacks on multiple women, framed in a more distasteful way. It's not 'Fame under fire' it's a rape trial. And it involves actual women. And this from the *checks notes* BBC

I REALLY don’t understand why so many people think Andy Burnham is “progressive”. He hasn’t even been in office for three months and we already have a book ban. A BOOK BAN. What comes next…?

Dear BBC Scotland, As a trans woman i'm deeply disturbed by your recent annoucement to broadcast a two part documentary about the career of JK Rowling. The author frequently publishes transphobic commentary via her enormous social media X (twitter) account.

Something exciting could be happening in Canadian politics. Yes, really. In response to a Trump-supporting CEO’s anti-worker moves, progressive politicians are calling for an American-owned steel company, Stelco, to be nationalized. This could be a VERY interesting development:

Pretty clear that Trump/Hegseth are doing everything they can to force Ukraine to surrender to Putin by withholding all US assistance while actively helping fund the Russian war machine to kill as many civilians as possible including kids. What a dark, evil chapter in US history.

Public executions should horrify all of us…why doesn’t it?

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

Speaking of live-streaming executions… There were white people in America, particularly from the 1880s through the 1930s, who enjoyed watching Black people being lynched. They brought their families, took photos & collected pieces of the victims’ clothing as souvenirs. [1935 — Fort Lauderdale]

Do you ever think about how rarely it's mentioned that Musk was found guilty by a jury of his peers of defrauding investors before he launched the largest, and possibly most fraudulent IPO, ever?

I ask again, why are national Dems letting Elon "quietly" fund these races? We have two test cases. 2024 when Dems didn't make his money an issue. And 2025 Wisconsin, where they did. Guess which time they won by double digits?

Blaming a woman on the way women are ‘discounted’ for assault has to be the stupidest ever post on here, especially when coupled with our hero’s ’I attended a trial trial every day to advocate for victims’. This isn’t even cognitive dissonance. It’s 100% pure ignorant misogynistic idiocy.

Canada is not actually 'battling for survival' in the context of secession, because in both Alberta and Quebec secession has relatively small amounts of public support. What we're battling is dipshit far-right populist politicians enabling/pushing for this destructive bullshit.

The Globe and Mail@theglobeandmail.com

Leaving Canada is effectively on the ballot in not one but two provinces: Alberta and Quebec. It can seem like Canada is battling for survival on multiple fronts, apparently out of nowhere. But there is more to the story. www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...

I get that people are trying to be “sensible” and not trying to turn the Alberta into a complete political powder keg (and look…I get it…there is a case to be made for that strategy) But after the referendum (and the US midterms), can we get fucking ruthless with these people?

Orlagh O’Kelly@orlaghokelly.bsky.social

“A Globe and Mail investigation has found that Republican political operatives were on the ground in Alberta this year to assist the separatist campaign in its bid to leave Canada…” Can we stop both siding this yet? www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic...
