Second playthrough of SW: Zero Company. This time round selecting the Mando character, Cly, that I deliberately left out last time. Only just got her and done one mission. She was nerfed in the latest patch but even still she's great. I can see why she needed a nerf.

Onto Strange New Worlds S4 ep 9. They really are leaning into the worst of previous seasons. Nearly every other ep is a joke episode but the jokes aren't funny and the whimsy falls flat on its arse.

Mandogrogu good. Obviously a bunch of eps smooshed together but great fun. Snorted hard when I recognised what was going on in the arena, a lovely callback. Rotta prolly one of the best new SW characters in ages.

Completed Star Wars Zero Company. Great story (really didn't expect that), very fun gameplay, somewhat janky code. Looking for chances to push enemies off gantries with a Force push never gets old. Deliberately didn't allow the Mando character into Zero company - I'll get her next playthrough.

Supergirl (no not that one. Or that one. This year's one). Good-ish fun. Milly Alcock awesome. Lobo as Jason Momoa was great. He played Jason Momoa perfectly. Lotta misteps that make it a mess but good for chugging down popcorn. Not a fan of hurting the dog so the audience is on board. Do better.

More bugs in SW Zero Company: Last baddy takes their turn but game does not return control to player. Game would not let me save so I could return to that point. Lost a whole mission's worth of progress because of it. Shame Bitreactor got rid of most of their devs cos there's a lot of work to do.

You know the makers of Star wars Zero Company love Xcom because they included a lot of shooting through walls and awkward camera angles. Also best crate logo ever:

Finally got to see Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die. It was good fun even though overegged in parts. If you don't already know it's basically 12 Black Mirror Terminator Monkeys.

Last night, chillin' out while Picard wonders why those astronauts are in such a rubbish spaceship with no carpets but is forced to concede their lighting is better.

Daredevil Born Again S2 up to ep 4 has been tremendous so far. Pllllllease don' f-up the second half of the season. Ep4 intro is like a masterclass in how to do a pre-credit sequence, none of this 10-mins meandering BS like in Star Trek Disco or ST Fleet Academy.

Finally got to see Predator Badlands. Two thumbs way way up. A good sci-fi romp, nice expansion on Yautja lore. Some very silly, almost Pythonesque, bits but they were very well done and a hoot to watch. Chortled at the last line.

Just found my first major bug in Sins2. Playing as Advent for the first time. The defending Vasari starbase has moved out of the gravity well so far that my ships can't pursue it. I can't attack the planet because the planetary shield on it requires the starbase to be destroyed first.

Sins of a Solar Empire 2 might just have one of the slickest game interfaces ever. I bought it on day one but am only now playing it more. The Devs have refined the interface of the original with some quality polish.
