In a time of rising antisemitism, we could use an organization dedicated to opposing it. Instead we have the ADL, which shrugs at Sieg Heils and anti-Jewish slurs at the top levels of govt to fixate on this. I grew up a few miles from Brighton Beach, and we called the area "Russian," not "Jewish."

the ADL is more mad about Zohran calling a neighborhood Eastern European than Elon giving a Nazi salute Zohran derangement syndrome is real

In 1936, Marc Chagall wrote, “Although the world views me as an ‘international’ [artist] and the French consider me to be one of their own, I think of myself as a Russian artist and take pleasure in doing so.” Was Marc Chagall being antisemitic against himself when he wrote this?

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Fuck this shit.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

Looking for game devs who have been directly inspired by anything BioWare for my next video. I suspect the public likely doesn’t quite realize the extent of their influence on the industry, so I’d really like to highlight that. If you are one such game devs, pls reply to this post!

An important point from a Kazakh political analyst, that Russia's identity as an empire goes far deeper than just the Soviet Union but extends back to Tsarist times. I would add that this identity is bound up in the Russian psyche with Russian insecurities about how Russia compares to other powers.

I find it entirely understandable that people can't bring themselves to vote for a bigot. I do think, however, that it's good to push back on civic religious ideas of a vote being a sacred declaration of your alignment on all issues, rather than a strategic push for certain parties to govern.

This is an explicit demand for American Jews to have dual loyalties, a classic antisemitic trope. And none of the major groups that claim to defend American Jews against antisemitism will say so, because they've decided protecting Israel from criticism is more important. www.jta.org/2026/10/26/u...

Rightwing politics is a smash and grab operation. Crude, violent rhetoric to get attention. Grandiose promises. Chest-pounding to convey energy. Menacing the polls. Once elected, bullying and defiance of all restraint in order to hold power. People are sick of it.

New in PN: Ramaswamy discovers that voters have their limits "This is the nature of today’s right-wing bubble, whose residents are not only acculturated to a particular political style — cruel, often hateful — but become convinced it’s the only effective way to do politics, & any other way is weak"
