I am honestly so jealous of the team at Sandfall Interactive for being allowed to create exactly what they wanted with Clair Obscur. I wish the large majority of the gaming landscape was like this. Sick AA games that know what they want to do and take some risks in the process. Go play this game!

Final Fantasy 16's version of this is stunningly good, where inside the entries dig into relevant entries. For example, in a character bio, their homeland would be added as a relevant entry, or close bonds.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN Avowed by @obsidian.net has "Dialogue history & lore" available for you when you talk to other characters! ๐Ÿ˜ญ I screamed when I saw it! Cognitive accessibility is so often forgotten, but here it is, so simple and yet so impactful for gamers like me๐Ÿ–ค

Why are there so many tenses that have vague specifics in when to use them in Spanish ๐Ÿซ  I'm just trying to write something and I need to think if we're talking about emotions, or whether the thing we're talking about happened before or after another thing... My brain implodes!

The lyrics are thought provoking too. They are right, I should go to bed so I don't ruin my skin. But then they are threatening me with doing a mesmerizing dance? How am I supposed to make the right choice? Lyrical geniuses.

Sometimes I just wanna make a cozy farm game as a comfort project to work on. One where I can just feature creep the hell out of the game without worrying. Add a new crop? Add a new farm automation item? Perhaps a new NPC? Or a questline? Just do whatever because it's fun.

So apparently there's a pretty big venn diagram of: - Guilty Gear Strive - Dota - Monster Hunter All active chatters in a specific stream all said they liked these 3, including me. Mmmmm

So I only recently started Cyberpunk. I'm not sure if I'm only noticing it now, or are they slowly introducing Night City slang as you play the game? Suddenly noticing a lot of "gonk" and "preem" for example. If this is intentionally introduced slowly: hats off from me. ๐Ÿ‘

Why do so many tablet games designed for kids require an internet connection? I don't want this thing online all the time, plus it's mostly used as a distraction in an airplane. And it's insane how many apps have subscriptions nowadays. Would cost us 30+ euros p/m if we got them all.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but I dislike when games get guest characters, but I hate when they're part of a battle/season pass. I didn't buy a game with its unique style to suddenly get Geralt or whatever to show up, looking out of place, with forced interactions.

If it was a sort of extra DLC for the fans of whatever crossover franchise they enjoy, then I'd stomach it much better. Now, it's just half a year (if we do one character per quarter) of uninteresting content.

Can we stop using AI to be shit human beings, please??

itch.io@itch.io

I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

There's a show called Married at First Sight and it's one of those shows where they need like 8 1h episodes to get to know the people participating. But sheesh it's worth it, knowing the background and all the drama unfolding is so interesting, to see their behavioral patterns.

Whenever people complain about new games and compare them to old games... Go play the old game? I don't understand, it's a new game for a reason. It's meant to be different. The older one is still right there if you prefer it.

I cannot say how much I love a good tool. Look at this!! This is why I went into this exact speciality ๐Ÿฅณ

Today's often-overlooked Unreal feature is the LIGHT MIXER! Window -> Env. Light Mixer It's smart enough to gather up all your lights, including ones within blueprint actors, and let you manage them from one panel. Just another nice tool that removes some art-direction friction #Unreal #Gamedev
