Dear new followers, thank you for following me but be warned: It’ll mostly be (sometimes profanity-laden) covid-awareness posts here. I *will* try to post some art from time to time though.

I think this pretty much holds true for the western world.

The Alberta referendum has only reinforced my opinion that 25-30% of the population are incorrigible idiots.

Why does it seem like on every issue, there’s always 30% that are idiots? See: politics, separatism. It never drops much lower and sometimes gets a lot higher.

Fuck all these guys but especially Apple.

James Downie@jamescdownie.bsky.social

"A list obtained by The Washington Post reveals all the major donors to President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom project.... Tech giants Nvidia and Apple each committed $25 million....Absent from the list is Trump himself, who has said that he is helping to pay for the project."

What the hell is with the trend of having a red circle on every image these days? Yes, it’s a picture of a guy’s face. A portrait. I see it. There’s no need to circle the damn thing. ⭕️ 🚫

On the other hand, it could shut up the “masks don’t work” crowd really quick, one way or another.

Note that pneumonic plague is airborne to begin with - and public health leaders just spent several years manufacturing disinformation claiming the required (and effective) mitigations "don't work", to cover up the deaths from their opposition to them in COVID policy.

Poor Péquistes, now that they’re officially a minority, they’ll have to discriminate against themselves

The last time I made fan art, it ended up taking me to Memphis for one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I doubt something like that might happen again. I just really, really dig Angine de Poitrine.

Marc Audet@raggedempire.bsky.social

I really don’t have time for fan art these days, but my love for Angine De Poitrine compelled me to do up this #silkscreen #gigposter #anginedepoitrine

I’m dreading the day that line starts creeping upwards, but for now, I’ll take it!

How can you not be romantic about baseball? Not a dry eye in my basement (it’s me, I’m crying), watching the (likely) last games with l George Springer and Max Scherzer. Here are a couple of details from my 2025 ALCS print of those two legends.

Someone tell him it’s named after Doug Ford. 😂

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The story that the White House, or me, want to affix my name to Ford’s Theatre where Abraham Lincoln was assassinated, is a ridiculous lie. It is FAKE NEWS! Who would possibly want a name on such a tragic place? The Dumocrats suffer from serious TDS. They are Degenerates and Losers ... "

Dear smart Covid cautious people, explain this like I’m 5. I know this guy has gone fully on the Covid is a nothingburger train. I simply cannot believe excess mortality has improved beyond even pre pandemic days, as much as I’d love it to be so.

Like, after 2022, things just literally went back to baseline. And now we’re better off than ever like the pandemic never existed? The thing that killed and disabled millions is now doing less than nothing?

This is fantastic. Please watch. Also, so nice to see respirators worn by really smart people.

CTV news coverage of the errors in health policy and guidance that leave the public unprotected from aerosol disease transmission and long COVID (with @drdavidkeegan.bsky.social and Kerri Bowser) is up. Great to see so much interest! Below is the UK inquiry cited: #medsky #scisky #cdnpoli #polisky

More fun stuff. I love my job. 💚

Thinking about this day. The only comment I got on my n95 was from my old friend who stopped by with his wife, and when she questioned why I was wearing it, he said “It’s Marc.” The longer I sit with it, the more it annoys me.

I think the 450000+ studies (none of which state that COVID is benign) should be enough to convince anyone willing to listen in good faith that they *should* be masking. But even then, thanks to social pressure, I don’t think they will.

Obviously I’m a little fired up about this. Do people close to me really think I enjoy being the outlier? Or that I’m overwrought with anxiety? Or just stupid? These are all questions I’ve been asking myself for years and have yet to come up with a good answer.

We’ve never discussed masking or covid because we don’t see each other all that much due to distance. But these are smart, left leaning (whatever that is worth anymore ) people and I can’t help but feel insulted.

His wife has some training in medicine, so I think he depends on her judgement, but again, what does that count for when the healthcare system has all but acquiesced to mass infection and denying the long term damage this virus creates?

This coming from a couple that don’t even think about SARS CoV 2 anymore. Do they think I do it for fun? I suspect he thinks it’s anxiety. I remember these two being vocal during the AIDS epidemic decades ago. How is this different?

Trump is threatening to cut off all trade to the European Union if Canada becomes an associate member, and I give it a few months before the only people the White House will be trading with is Don Jr.'s cocaine dealers
