BREAKING: Former Miss Switzerland Accuses Trump of Rape A former Miss Switzerland alleges that President Donald Trump raped her while she was in the U.S. for a pageant in 1993. The allegation was included in a report released on Monday by Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee.

Not a big story, it's just the Attorney General working with an imprisoned pedophile to help cover up the pedophile President's crimes conducted with his best friend for 15 years, a pedophile who the President sent, as a birthday card, a drawing of a naked adolescent girl.

Amanda Marcotte@amandamarcotte.bsky.social

This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

The crux of my argument about the Dems is: Look how out of it the GOP is when events just coalesce against them. Imagine an opposition operating at max capacity, guns blazing even 40% of the time? It would obliterate the right for a generation. This would be good for America and the entire world.

Not just the fastest, or the cheapest, or the best, but the *only* possible solution to climate change is a rapid global buildout of clean energy infrastructure. If you're standing in the way of that, you're not working on climate change & should be honest with yourself about your priorities.

great for talarico but imagine if 1/10 of this had been spent on creating media that reaches states like texas over the last 10-15 years. then democrats wouldnt have to wonder if maybe they can get a slight edge vs a monster like paxton to win.

James Talarico raised $64 million (?!) in the third quarter of his Senate campaign. More than any Senate candidate has ever raised in the third quarter, per his campaign. 97% of donations were $100 or less, with teachers being the most common profession of donors. www.huffpost.com/entry/live-u...
