We went to Lytham Hall yesterday before the storm got too bad. I've never been before. I liked this coat of arms on the gate, with an arm holding a dagger coming out of it to stab you.

I got some hake from the good fishmongers in Lytham and cooked it with peppers and onions and chorizo for tea, it came out very nicely.

Psyche Delhi-san, the mascot for the shopping district in hip and alternative Koenji, Tokyo, is a mysterious psychedelic creature with glowing eyes and a protruding tongue.

I walked through Epping Forest on my own the other week. I'd decided to sit down and draw and write at points on this walk, while I was there, without any particular outcome in mind, apart from describing what it was like. THIS is what I did.

When the kids were young, I'd do a slow mo run to the microwave, saying 'noooo' and stop it with one second to go, thus saving the entire planet from disintegration. They're all grown up now but when no-ones around, I still do it. You're welcome btw, me saving your lives.
