In the Dr. Stranglove survival kit checklist scene, there's a really awkward dub where Maj Kong says "Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff." But in the original shot he says Dallas but this was cut because of the Kennedy assassination.
We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.
"I had it from Xenophon" is easily one of the coolest things you can say after receiving a compliment for doing something well, even if it has nothing to do with light infantry skirmish tactics.
In my latest article, Learn how Xenophon's _Anabasis_ provided a framework that European military theorists nearly two millennia later used to better conduct military operations in the rugged terrain of North America.

Stewart went from E-1 to O-6 in FOUR years. He also instructed at Kirtland in ABQ NM and was the installation commander at Dobbins in Marietta GA. Just some fun facts.
Burns & Co has debuted a third official trailer for Jimmy, a new biopic movie about the famous American actor James Stewart and his toughest years flying planes during #WWII before going on to make his magnum opus It's a Wonderful Life (in 1946). www.firstshowing.net/2026/final-t...

REVIEW: Pretty much just surveys classical airpower theorists (<100 pgs). The most interesting part is about Warden since Mets worked for him at ACSC. Still, if you want to learn about Air Power as theory and doctrine, you're better off just reading the chapter from Makers and then The Air Campaign.
All do respect to James, but this is textually incorrect. The Iliad is about darkness shrouding people's eyes, detailed descriptions of shields, and extended metaphors about lions.
AHHHHHHH THE ONLY REASON HE EVEN STAYS TO DIE AT TROY IN THE ILIAD IS TO AVENGE PATROCLUS. IT'S A POEM ABOUT HIS RAGE. THE OPENING LINES ARE PRETTY CLEAR WHY CAN'T A SINGLE DEFENDER OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION READ A SINGLE THING FROM THE WESTERN CANON AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I'm gonna guess whatever they learn will simply reinforce whatever they were already doing. Ask me how I know.
"China is running the most systematic effort by any outside power to convert the Ukraine war’s lessons into military advantage, absorbing the errors of both sides. Chinese analysts are explicit about the value of Russia’s war against Ukraine," writes CSIS experts Read: https://bit.ly/4iaD66n

That...is Mario Kart.
There's a famous line from Trek TNG, where Picard explains to Data that perfect play doesn't guarantee victory. I think it's a very important saying to understand. Also, it has three sides, and one of them is bullshit which infuriates me, as I was trying to explain to an acquaintance tonight.
