Licensed to thrill.... Our new full-size RISC OS keyboard has arrived — complete with number pad, Cherry MX Red switches and enough backlighting to make Q nervous. And we can still make look like 1987! Neither shaken nor stirred. Buy it at the #RISCOSLondon tomorrow. #RISCOS

Tomorrow, RISCOSbits will be at the RISC OS London Show with: FAST Stealth ✅ NVMe systems ✅ SATA systems ✅ RiscDOCK laptops ✅ DIY kits ✅ Remote & Roam ✅ Clearance bargains ✅ Self-control around new computer hardware ❌ riscoslondonshow.co.uk

FAST Stealth has a 256GB SATA SSD. But being Stealth, it has somewhere to hide another drive too. Multiple-drive RISC OS computing in a compact case, powered by our fast Block Device drivers. Storage capacity: respectable. Ability to make “sneaky” jokes: sadly unlimited.

We need shelf space. FAST Stealth needs shelf space. This is bad news for the computers currently occupying the shelf. So: CLEARANCE SALE at the RISC OS London Show. Complete RISC OS machines from £99. Our ruthless approach to inventory management could be your gain. #risc_os

We put a 2-inch colour LCD on the front of FAST Stealth. Why? Because we could. At launch it can display a carousel of images. Longer term, we have rather more useful system-monitoring ideas for it. Until then, displaying anything is technically possible. #riscos #riscoslondon

Can’t take your RISC OS computer everywhere? We have two solutions to help out: RISC OS Remote: leave it at home and use it from somewhere else. RISC OS Roam: take RISC OS with you. RISCOSbits - gradually eliminating all legitimate excuses for being without RISC OS. Sorry.

Right. Enough sneaking about. Meet FAST Stealth. 4GB RAM. 256GB SATA SSD. Space for another drive. 2-inch LCD on the front. Tiny footprint. £299. Apparently nobody told it that RISC OS computers are supposed to be beige and enormous. See it in London on 24th October. #riscos

Got a spare Raspberry Pi 4? Congratulations. You’re most of the way to owning a RISC OS laptop. RiscDOCK Lite turns your Pi into something considerably more useful than the thing currently gathering dust in your drawers! 14in or 15.6in. £199 at the London Show. #risc_os

Modern mechanical keyboard. ✅ Cherry MX Red switches. ✅ Individually coloured keys. ✅ Naturally, we immediately used this technology to recreate the function keys from 35-year-old Acorn computers. Progress, eh... Custom backlit keyboard — £49 at the London Show. #risc_os

Something is lurking in the shadows. It’s small. It’s #FAST. It has SATA. And on 24th October we’re finally letting it out in public. FAST Stealth. RISC OS London Show 2026. You probably won’t see it coming. Which is sort of the point. #RISCOS #RISCOSLondon

Along with the new #mirkopc from @miroslawfolejewski.bsky.social , I also received this excellent looking custom enclosure for it. It's a very solid piece of kit, to protect an excellent piece of kit! What's not to like? Even at that, I think he's planning a few refinements before release.

After an excellent suggestion at a hardware mod on the board from @miroslawfolejewski.bsky.social , I now have NVMe enabled with a Compute Module 4 and #RISC_OS on the new #MirkoPC. Not many hardware designers would put in so much time to help a niche user base make best use of their hardware.
