reduced a few re-renders and some memory allocations that were added in by AI, i'm just glad the tests were behavioral so it was easier to do the refactor

At some point I might want a new job and looking at how the market is I guess I'll be looking for one for a very long time. sucks to be a specialist in compute and scale since it doesnt really matter anymore to most people.

Obsessed with trying to simplify how we manage worktrees have a few tools that can handle this, not sure of which experience I like more. 1. A mac menubar app 2. A TUI 3. Worktree management in conflicto

... I didn't read what I was upgrading so I upgraded my project on CF to paid but didn't do it for the workers and I'm assuming no one other than me was able to sign up. Would've been a disaster if I found this out after announcing this on things like product hunt.

Truth be told the need for hyperfocused, does one thing best sites like Ping(ping.tinytown.studio) have no life. I'm glad and happy that I hace users but I'll also have to add in a little more to it to make it worth the maintenance costs. open to ideas of things people want to see.

Guess I'm going to be cheaper to hire since a LLM subscription isn't mandatory for me to get things done. </satire>

People who are open to new opportunities and interested in working at usebruno.com , please get in touch with me. We are hiring for SDE2/3 positions, and are looking for candidates with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript. Note: This is an on-site role based in Bangalore, India.

I'm looking for my next opportunity in the front-end space 🌐 I've worked at some great companies: Hugging Face, V7, Appwrite, and Significa. I've built NPM packages with 400k downloads/week, and am an avid open-source contributor. Let me know if you want to work together!

reminiscing the time where success for what I built was having just 1 user and being okay with it if that user was me

preact-island-plugins has a few quirks that might need a tiny breaking change if I plan to polish it. Mostly the typescript part which I should've left on the user for the rollup plugin but also because I think I can remove the server + client coupling it currently has.

both things would change the input config and also how the plugin processes the input, all can be done without needing an AST parse with string transforms but I like the reliability. The dependents are mostly my own packages and a few of my own projects, so it should be fine

Here's a toy app using @preactjs.com + signals and @nitro.build (to avoid the browser's CORS error) It's an example on one of the ways you can use signals and how most of the App logic can be changed to just listening to values as compared to dealing with hooks 1/n

Fresh 2 has graduated to beta releases - essentially release candidates before a stable release. Fresh can now act as a Vite plugin, opening the door to HMR, faster boot times, and Cloudflare deployments. deno.com/blog/fresh-a...

Preact-iso now has it's URL pattern matching logic ported to multiple languages! You can now preload JS and CSS for your app from Python, Go, PHP or Ruby.

Munawwar Firoz@munawwar.bsky.social

What if client side routers URL pattern matching logic was available in multiple languages? Non-JS servers could figure out which client route matches for a request and add preload tags to preload assets (CSS, JS, images, icons) instead of just serving the app shell.

In the past year or two, I have built over 19 products, most of which are open source. There are many more ideas I want to build, so stay tuned! (I will also open-source all my directories very soon!) #opensource #buildinpublic

✺ Introducing NLC: A terminal assistant for natural language commands. I built NLC to learn about the AI SDK, and I have to admit, Vercel has done an excellent job of making this tool both simple and powerful. I highly recommend it. github.com/remvze/nlc

Math... and me, there's always something that I ruin while doing arc calculations, I should teach a model svg animations and then let it design these for me

Both parts of the write up around the example repo are done and available on the reaper blog reaper.is/writing/2025...
