What are the best and worst email sign-offs? I usually use “Thanks” or “Best” but occasionally switch to “Sincerely” when those feel insufficient. “Regards” sounds a tad formal/old fashioned.

Political SNS pet peeve: “Not enough people are talking about this…” It puts the information at a psychological remove and predisposes the reader to be resigned—“oh well, yet another thing we won‘t be able to change because we’re not strong enough.” Just post the thing and let your outrage show.
