Read this over the weekend as I heard Helsinki is a quantum computing city! The book is a nice introduction, easy to read, and awakens your curiousity for more. Like the IQM Academy, which will be my next source. :)

I wrote a new book: Quantum Computing For Software Engineers. For those who'd like to learn about the realities of the industry, and consider joining it. QC architectures, software stack, compilers, pulse-level, and more. The book is FREE! Or you can pay what you want. leanpub.com/quantum-comp...

FilePilot is an amazing piece of software for Windows, and there is nothing quite like it for any other OS yet. But Forklift on macOS is pretty close.

Got a PC for the first time in like 2 decades, and the two most impressive things for me are 1. colors and mouse support in BIOS 2. you can alt-tab from a running game without issues

I like how cybersecurity stocks are crashing as more and more inherently unsecure AI products are hitting the markets. (pictured below is wisdom tree cyber security etf, which holds stuff like crowdstrike, palo alto networks, datadog, akamai, etc.)

In Windows 11 choosing 150% display scaling setting = blurry fonts, choosing "custom" and putting "150%" manually = crisp. At this point in time neither macOS nor Windows can do external displays properly. Popular Linux distros do better. This is the opposite of how it's been 15 years ago. Amazing

I gotta use Windows 11 for a while. C++ and web development + 3D modeling/graphics apps + Unreal engine. Please share good apps that you recommend. So far I got: - Everything - FilePilot - Powertoys Windows Terminal is okay, but kinda sluggish. Is there something like iTerm for Windows?

16k+ page hits from bots in just a few minutes today. I'm tired of fighting this. I think I'll make Minifeed mostly private - for logged in users only. Sad.

I miss good old internet forums. Some are still around, but it’s hard to get into established communities. I was thinking what if we start a new forum built on our own simple open source code? We’d have classic areas like tech, gaming, movies, hobbies. NO politics. Would you consider joining?

Started noticing lots of people using “anymore” as “now”, as in e.g. “gaming sucks anymore”. So weird. Also, “to” instead of “too” (“way to often!”) and “there” instead of “their”
