I bought Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends the 2025 “eco vinyl” reissue and its real cool and good that we can injection mold a plastic disc that plays high quality music but why did they use the single version of viva la vida leaving a fade out and then an abrupt transition into violet hill

that being said i think injection moulding records from plastic bottles is a good idea and big music should be doing that instead of making eight billion colourful vinyl variants of every new album

I am going to subject every person who brings up the 1976 UK heatwave to sitting on a crowded northern train for a whole day

Let me fix your fucking headlines...again. It's not "Steam Machine has price issue" Your headline needs to be ACCURATE. "AI SLOP GENERATOR SABOTAGES GAMING CONSOLE"

very excited to hear Anthony Fantano's opinion on the new Muse song. I think he's going to ignore it again

I get a little embarrassed when I see my fellow Brits complaining about "the heat" on social media, usually because these kinds of posts start when the temperature breaches 20C. I know we have homes built to trap heat and no AC but 20C is not that hot guys.

zero parades for dead spies looks cool its a shame about the jaws of capitalism snatching an entire video game studio away from its founders

Now that bluesky has drafts I can finally get back to my favourite thing I used to do on twitter, writing tweets and not posting them

I feel like I can't play Expedition 33. I feel like if I try and play it the immense hype surrounding it will make me expect the best video game ever made and it won't be that and I'll end up hating it.

there's something ever so slightly sinister about the sheer number of end of year personal recap campaigns we're seeing with web services and just how much data they show you, but I guess they were collecting that data anyway. might as well do something fun with it

Been scrolling through r/HalfLife a lot today, it's genuinely quite funny watching people completely lose their minds over rumours and speculation

it does not work how i want it to work i would ideally like it to work exactly the same way it does on windows where the icon reflects the clipboard state and if you press it while the GPU is in use it shouts at you but you know baby steps
