i wasn't able to post during the day at #fosdem, because the bluesky app logged me out *sigh* the @radicle.xyz talk was real good! it's impressive how much progress they made since last time i looked at the project, and are still making. it's much nearer to being usable by real projects

Maybe nowโ€™s a good time to try out @radicle.xyz ? Escape the #github #enshittification and #freeYourCode ! #OpenSourceSoftware is too important to be controlled by any single vendor.

GitHub is no longer independent at Microsoft, as CEO Thomas Dohmke resigns. GitHub is now moving to Microsoft's AI engineering team, CoreAI, with a new structure for GitHub's leadership team. Details ๐Ÿ‘‡ www.theverge.com/news/757461/...

โš ๏ธ If you're running a seed combining `radicle-node-1.2.1` and `radicle-httpd`, then it is necessary to run `radicle-httpd-0.20.0`.

There were changes to reviews in patches. This change was backwards-compatible, however, it is not forwards compatible โ€“ which can result in missing patches when trying to view them (don't worry they're still there ๐Ÿ˜…)

Hope to see people at ProtocolBerg ๐ŸŒฑ Let's discuss moderation in a decentralised network ๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ

Protocol Berg v2@protocol.berlin

Johannes Kรผhlewindt from @radicle.xyz will discuss how moderation can work in peer-to-peer networks without central authorities, using radicle as a case study. Heโ€™ll discuss cryptographic identities, trust graphs, and the balance between openness and governance.

We saw some great talks at LocalFirst! From more powerful sync engines, local first operating systems, to solving epidemics and forestry. These people are amazing, and we're lucky to rub shoulders with all of these wonderful people. Already cannot wait for next year! ๐ŸŒฑ #localfirst #localfirstconf
