I’m voting for Snow White because I hate Tarzan and want it to lose!

We’ve had a few upsets so far, and we might be in for another today. The original animated princess film faces off against a story of a man who conquered the jungle. Who wins? 1️⃣ Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 2️⃣ Tarzan 📊 Show results

Main character energy is OUT, this summer we’re bringing NPC energy. We’re posted up at the bar dropping lore and suggesting side quests. We’re leaning casually near a locked door and saying “I don’t think you have the key for that” when someone tries the handle. We’re staring at a tree.

On this 45th anniversary of FRIDAY THE 13TH, I think it’s time we admit that Pamela Voorhees’ cable knit sweater is iconic, albeit wildly underappreciated in the pantheon of slasher apparel. Anyone can wear a mask, but causing mayhem looking like a Land’s End catalog model is a singular diva move.

Later seasons of Scandal where every single person running for President has personally murdered someone is perfection.

If you still have power and internet, I highly recommend rewatching late seasons of SCANDAL to numb the mind while offering distraction. Every series regular is a murderer and everyone's having sex with everyone else and The Fate of the Nation is at stake. It's very very smooth-brained.

Also this is really key: Giving up on elections now is obeying in advance.

there's a very real chance Trump blows up democracy. he tried to do it last time. He failed last time. he might fail again. he might not try again. if he does try the possible solutions will depend on how. we are necessarily reactive right now. I don't think this is all that complicated really

The first one made a ton of money and won Joaquin Phoenix an Oscar! It’s not surprising people were eager to make another one. (The first one is also bad but see the first two points.)

The Adirondack Mountains are actually getting taller over time, the crust underneath is lifting at a rate that exceeds the rate of erosion. The Adirondack Park is 6 million acres large and the largest park in the United States.

Friends, help me expand my geographic knowledge. Tell me a fact about your geographic sub-region of your country. (Not the country, please. I’m looking for ways to associate map places.) This can be a state, province, county, prefecture, city, barangay, barrio.

Had the awful realization mid First Aid class that the reason they now advise a more aggressive anti-bleeding approach is they assume you’ll be performing first aid after mass shootings.

Can’t wait to spend the next few days repeatedly refreshing netgalley until this appears.

just approved the text for the ARC of The Angel of Indian Lake. coming soon to. . . okay, I don't know: wherever you snag your ARCs? or your AREs, if that's what you call them? your earlies? either way, there'll be claws ripping through the cover:

I want to make this.

This is my sister-in-law Jovi, who is a lovely person and also a kick-ass knitting designer. She didn't ask me to post about her new spooky spider sweater pattern but I love it, so! Ravelry: www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib... Payhip: payhip.com/b/Gg1E4 Her Insta: www.instagram.com/hookmountain...

This is a good article and points to a large reason why I’m pretty much only making my own sweaters now. (But as glorious as it is, no way is that Billy Crystal sweater in WHMS hand knit.)
