some ppl have an art style thats like 'delicate and ominous' where it makes me feel "i rlly dont want something bad to happen... but i would welcome something bad happening if it had to. i would understand" and i should figure out how to make stuff like that

real bird gaming

my take is programming isnt 'art' because programming is 'engineering' just like graphic design isnt art its 'design' i think theres something with wanting to call everything art where its like youre trying to assign more value to the medium but diluting the word 'art' into "anything someone makes"

which theres a better word for that and its "craft". design eng and art are diff "craft"s, no doubt but theres a fundemental difference between creating something with the intention of addressing a physical need(eng) vs making something with the intention of communicating something emotionally(art)

if i could make my own seitan i would be so powerful

internet being full of slop is isolating in the specific way of raising barrier to understanding different hobbies/cultures. ex. if you dont know how to cook but want to look up a recipe how are you gonna know its slop

theres definetly something abt the like design sense in san francisco where they love to have sterilized architecture with some type of grody decaying looking sculpture, which just feels like gloating about how they treat the poor in thier society

there was some type of multistory "glass+metal bars" type building i remember, with a like 4x-life-sized paper-mache "guy lying down on the sidewalk" sculpture in the lobby and its like you wanna see a guy laying down on the sidewalk theyre like right outside the door

making a vn is kinda awesome... when it starts to come together...

just realized the whole world sees me with my hair swooped to their left rather than the right (what it looks like in the mirror) and thats so fucked up
