This is great but it’s still living in a world where Trump doesn’t crime if you say no and doesn’t get others to crime for him and won’t pardon them when they do. That is very clearly not the world WE live in. The answer is to remove the fascist, not chase him around telling him he’s naughty.

Have this fight, but don’t neglect the other one. If we were going to go down this road all along, of showing America how awful he really is, we should have started in Feb ‘25 by blocking the whole gd budget and forcing him to fasc-out all at once.

At best, this gives agents standing when he fires them for not persecuting her. And then they’re fired, and their life is upside down, and they have to sue, like Andy McCabe, to get what they’re owed, and they have to explain their termination at every job interview ever.

IOW, people about whom it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to develop reasonable suspicion and/or probable cause. Bc, say it with me: It’s not law enforcement It’s ethnic cleansing

Sen. Adam Schiff tells NBC that Pete Hegseth and "anyone who has knowledge of what happened" should testify before the Senate on Ukraine's Starlink disruptions. "Somebody is lying here. Maybe they're all lying in different ways, but we need to find out."

Huddle up, team. They swept into office with Project 2025 and immediately began wreaking havoc. See example 5,736,385,373 below. Where’s our plan to rebuild? We need one. I would have heard about it by now. Never let the assholes be more prepared than you. Good talk. Hands in: Team on 3. 1-2-3 …

Trump: "This is a disgrace. The mother said that Amy Acton is a liar and she's no good. And you know what? I don't think you can get a better reference than that."

Yeah, exactly. Might be why we’ve been screaming about it so long and so loud.

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

Also, these are NOT police. They aren’t protecting a community, they’re serially terrorizing many communities, like marauders. They are voluntarily working for an ethnic cleansing agency, and they deny all shame for doing so while they hide/threaten They are not reformable. They are not redeemable.

Telling a woman to shut up when she’s asking about the attack ad you’ve backed calling a pedophilia victim a loser is like a turducken pf misogyny

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

😳 WOMAN REPORTER: Do sexual abuse allegations mean nothing to you, sir? TRUMP: Wait. Wait! Wait wait wait. Slow down. Who are you with? REPORTER: NBC, sir. But they are very serious sex abuse allegations TRUMP: Quiet! Isn't she a fresh person? You're a horrible little reporter, aren't you?

Yes, this is pathetic, and so are all their other stunts, but the point is to create an atmosphere, not to win any of these specific battles. They’re kicking up dust to create enough chaos to motivate and cover for their insurrectionist core. They’re a danger until they’re all gone and prosecuted.

Micah@rincewind.run

I understand the freakout here but honestly this one reads as a sign of weakness to me a) peltola is going to win by more than the second dan sullivan's margin b) this argument is pathetic, and if their strategy is 'throw pathetic shit at the wall and hope something sticks' I'm less worried

I like speculating/daydreaming about better times after he’s gone. That takes work now, not later, now. Setting our democracy on track cannot begin until obstacles are removed. Our Constitution gives us two ways to do it, both requiring abundant pressure from all of us beginning 11/4/26.

I surely hope so. I think he’ll be a messy bitch on the way out but he may just resign. And then there’s the issue of his replacement. I can’t imagine Trump will nominate somebody we can trust so, we’re going to have to reject his nominee(s) and be without a confirmed SECDEF for a while.

i really do think that a successful impeachment and removal of hegseth is a live possibility if dems win the senate. he is a genuine disaster.

Say what now? Why thank you, Jared. Thank you for providing admissible evidence that is no longer excluded from consideration under the Trump immunity ruling.

I’ll be glad to be rid of him but we’ll lose our ability forever to see justice even attempted, let alone done. He needs to be removed, urgently, so we can put him on trial and have a chance at partial redemption.

They’re opening the aperture for criminal fascism as wide as they can, to leave as many avenues to dictatorship as possible. They’re not subtle. This is happening. We must activate their cowardice.
