Our Haitian neighbors are carrying so much right now, & Haitian students are no exception. Grateful to have joined them this month for the Mass. Haitian Student Unity Forum. Convenings like these are essential to informing our work to build a more just, equitable MA & country.

Brazil reminded the world that when people stand in solidarity with one another, we can beat fascism & authoritarianism anywhere. Congrats to President Lula & the Brazilian people on this monumental victory. The Trump Administration must respect the results & Brazilian autonomy.

My #HR40 reparations bill is a pathway toward truth, reconciliation, and accountability for the deep, structural injustices that continue to ravage Black communities.

This reversal by USPS is a testament to public pressure & community solidarity. I’m glad they're heeding our calls to keep the Fields Corner branch open & preserve this public good. They must reopen the Allston branch next and stop gutting postal services across Massachusetts.

This is outrageous. Trump's DOJ is working proactively to sow doubt in our elections and laying the groundwork to deny elections that Republicans lose. This is fascism, plain and simple, and we must call it out.

Shameful that in 2026, women with disabilities are paid 44 cents for every dollar paid to non-disabled fathers. My Disabled Women’s Equal Pay Day Resolution with Reps. Simon & Randall makes it clear: We must put an end to this economic injustice & make sure everyone gets equal pay for equal work.

Where is our humanity? How is this keeping anyone safe? Trump and ICE are traumatizing our children, ripping apart families, and terrorizing our communities. The cruelty is the point.

On Disabled Women’s Equal Pay Day, I partnered with disability champions @repemilyrandall.bsky.social and @pressley.house.gov to introduce the “Disabled Womens Equal Pay Day Resolution.”

Decades of disinvestment & policy harm have disproportionately impacted the health of our Black & brown communities. A drastic reimagining is needed to address these racial health inequities. I joined Boston Medical Center's EQTY Summit to discuss our fight for health equity in the #MA7 & beyond.

Donald Trump & Sean Duffy are trying to rip away $20M in infrastructure funding for Roxbury. That's why we're taking them to court. Roxbury deserves transportation that works for the people who depend on it every day—and they've waited long enough for this investment.

My heart breaks for the two small businesses in Somerville who've lost their stores through this fire, but I'm relieved no one was severely injured. I'm grateful for the first responders and sending my support to the owners, workers, & firefighters who were hospitalized.

The school shooting in Oregon is unconscionable and my heart is with everyone impacted. No parent should ever have to bury their child & certainly not due to gun violence. We must stop this cycle of violence & trauma, and end the public health crisis of gun violence in America.

The fight for voting rights and reparations are inextricably tied because both are about repairing the harms of centuries of exploitation - @pressley.house.gov telling it like it is. We need leaders to not only confront Trump Crow symptoms but also to champion repairing the source of inequality.

We should be using every tool available to protect our planet, our people, & our economy. One way we can do that is by stopping giant banks from financing fossil fuel projects. My Fossil Free Finance Act with @markey.senate.gov & @reprashida.govpeeps.us would do just that.
